   Ray is not only an experienced mechanic but also a very sympathetic person. Today I took my car to his workshop asking for a quote in making good some scratches on the car door. I told him that last week my neighbours, an old couple, whose car had a contact with my car. The old couple asked me to provide them a quote in making good the scratches. Ray, after listening to my story, offered me a quick wax polish for free and said to me that I didn’t need to pursue on this matter now. The previous marks of paints and dirts were gone, leaving only a very minor dent that was almost unnoticeable. I learned a lesson from him that life is sometimes imperfect and we could simply accept that without holding onto something that is not obvious at all. Ray is helpful and humorous. He made a remark that we should avoid giving pressure to old people. I agree! I think I will visit his workshop again when my car official maintenance period expires.

   Brilliant service received here from a top, trustworthy mechanic. Recently moved into the area and needed to find a new garage to look after my BMW. Got an MOT done which highlighted an issue with a caliper. Rather than just replace, Ray took the time to diagnose the issue and fix it. Fully explained what had happened and what had be done to rectify. More than happy with the work done / info on things to keep an eye and wouldn't hesitate to bring my car back here for more work or recommend this garage to anyone!

   Ray goes the extra mile to diagnose mechanical faults that other mechanics overlook. I had a warning light that wouldn’t disappear despite multiple visits to another mechanic. Luckily Ray knew the issue and was able to fix it. Highly recommend

   I would highly recommend Simpsons Complete Car Service. Ray has been looking after our BMW X5 and Audi A1 for a number of years. He does the MOTs and services and is extremely helpful in providing us with information and advice. Ray is also very transparent regarding costs, taking care to explain how much any repairs will cost in both parts and labour. Whenever any problems arise with either car, he is always very helpful at fitting us in swiftly to identify and resolve any issues.
