I felt extremely unwell on Sunday morning and called 111, where I was given an appointment for the following day. I was seen by Nurse Practitioner Matthew Howes, who was exceptional throughout. He carried out every possible check available to him and prescribed antibiotics. Unfortunately, I was too unwell to keep them down, so I called again the next morning and was given another appointment straight away. Further checks were done, including a urine sample, which showed I was more dehydrated and still had an infection. I had been so unwell that I had missed my flights to Italy for my Christmas holiday, and Matthew could clearly see how much this had affected me. He arranged a referral to Good Hope Hospital, which meant I didn’t have to wait for hours in A&E. This took a huge amount of stress out of the situation, and I immediately began to feel better once I received fluids, antibiotics, and pain relief. He even called to check on how I was getting on and printed all notes so I could explain the situation to the hospital. Matthew consistently explains everything clearly, listens carefully, and always goes the extra mile to get things done. He has a get up and go attitude — on a previous occasion, he took bloods straight away rather than booking another appointment. This was not only more efficient but meant results came back quicker and treatment could begin sooner. Thank you for your professionalism, kindness, and dedication. Please don’t ever change.

I think Dr Fawehinmi is a brilliant Doctor and an asset to your surgery. You want to keep him here. He is a very good Doctor. Caring and sincere.

Can't fault them. They've been great with my kids, always give me appointments no problem. Reception is very polite. Special mention to Dr. Pai and Mathew the paramedic. Very charismatic people!

Not open on Saturdays or Sundays. The entire practice closes for a lunch break between 12.45 - 1.45 which is ridiculous. Staff should stagger there lunches not take the entire practice out of action for an hour when your hours are already limited. Good luck if you have a Mon - Fri job and want to arrange something on your lunch break to access care. Very unclear communication and some of the receptionist are extremely rude. Had to drop something off to the nurses, got there at 5.15 one day to be told come back tomorrow. Came back the following day on my lunch break only to wait for everyone to come back of their lunch. All the shutters down. I was not informed about the lunch break or the fact that you have to book a drop off slot, no respect for you or your time. Do better.

Been here since I was a child, it has been non stop poor service long wait times, medical malpractice incompetent staff, just recently I was booked in for an appointment and the receptionist who booked it gave me not just the wrong time but the wrong date and know I have to wait another several weeks to investigate something potentially serious I really hope they do privatise the nhs atleast then It will be regulated properly

There is one specific GP, who shows nothing but contempt and disdain for all his patients, and really should not be practising. Treated awfully, will transfer away as soon as I can.

It is far easier to visit the Centre to get an appointment than it is to ring up and be in a very long queue ! Nevertheless, Very impressed by the staff on the customer services desk and the speed I was allocated the appointment at Many thanks keep up the good work

Understandably the NHS is very overwhelmed. I patiently sat on the phone from 8:30 for an appointment. Eventually spoke to reception and described my situation. It was clear that they were very busy but she spoke empathetically and have me an appointment to see my doctor within two hours. Be kind be good is my motto
