Great service all round. Went in for a MoT, was the first customer of the day and it only took 45minutes. Kind, caring staff that give sound advice on any car issues. Would definitely go there again.

It’s such an awful feeling when knowing you’ve been taking advantage of especially if it’s done carelessly! Customer satisfaction and fair treatment should be maintained when any business offers a service to the public. I had a very bad experience when I took my vehicle to Mortlake Garage for a repair, as I was excessively overcharged and misled. Basically I was asked to pay the full cost of the repair including labour charges in advance, I was told that the repair will take 4 hours where it actually took around an hour or two maximum! I called the garage around 3:15pm on the day when I was told the part hasn’t arrived yet but it will be delivered in about half an hour, then I received a phone call from the garage at 5pm telling me the repair has been completed and my vehicle is ready for collection, so when I went to collect it I was giving an invoice for 5 hours labour plus 2 hours diagnostic which came up to around £900 plus over £1550 for the part. When I asked for explanation of the charges calculation I was told it’s a fixed price however on the invoice it stated hourly rate. The way I understand how any business chargers customers is either a fixed price or hourly rate where as it appears at Mortlake garage they confusingly combining the two charging methods! I asked the manager there whom didn’t show any care for a client satisfaction when I tried to settle the issue, if the repair took more than 4 hours would have you charged me extra hours? and he said yes! So why when it clearly took less than 4 hours I wasn’t offered any refund. Moreover I got disrespected and told that I should work on my English language to understand what I’ve been told, which is clearly rude remarks as English is not my first language! Obviously I won’t be using Mortlake Garage services ever again for their misleading charges and unwillingness to show their customers the respect they’re entitled to over money making attitude!

FINALLY FIXED MY COOLANT LEAK! I’ve been struggling with loss of coolant on my Vauxhall corsa for months. I had taken the car to a local garage who told me the thermostat needed replacing. Even after replacing that the car was still leaking so I took it back there and they said it was the lower radiator hose. I did that too and the car was still leaking. A friend recommended I take it to Mortlake Garage and straight away they diagnosed it was the water pump. Roly was kind enough to show me first hand where it was leaking from which reassured me as I had already changed two previous parts and the problem persisted. Since they replaced my water pump my car has been running PERFECTLY, no leaks whatsoever. I am so grateful to Mortlake Garage and I will be using them from now on as their knowledge is unmatched. They diagnosed in seconds what the other garage failed to find twice. I wish I had taken it here to begin with. 10/10 totally recommend.

Had a an recent MOT here and my indicator changed in the past - they were understanding of my budget and agreed to fit a part I bought online. Honest, efficient and friendly - I’ve been to garages before where I’ve honestly felt a bit under minded as a young female, and have been convinced I needed things done to my car that I retrospectively didn’t need, so I really appreciate that I can rely on them to not be the same :)
