    As of 02 July 2022 the business of ramp rent is no more. Change of management. I did enquire how much to jack up my car for an oil change I was quoted £40, even I had my own oil, filter and tools. Utter rip off! I walked.

    Pitstart has several mechanics all working under the one roof . There is a young polish mechanic called Alex who is excellent and honest which is really hard to find nowadays . On the both occasions I came to customise my car , I arrived late yet he stayed on beyond his hours to make sure the job was completed to my satisfaction. So if anyone is looking for a honest hard working mechanic then Alex is the person to ask for . I’d just like to mention one important thing about this place , as there are several mechanics that work here , if a bad review is posted then try mentioning the mechanics name so the other mechanics that work on a day today basis don’t get judged the same way as they are seriously good at what they do . Cheers Alex for giving up your time to install my new 17 inch gti180 alloys to my Xsi .

    I have been there couple of monts ago, my car was overheating, the guy was charging for new thermostat and several other parts and service. He told he put a special thermostat in my car... You can see on 2nd picture how the thermostat looks like and what he put in... Very disappointed!

    I have used this garage on several occasions, my mates have used these guys too. I can honestly say that every time i have gone there the service has been fantastic, the workmanship brilliant and the prices great. You are never going to satisfy 100% of people 100% of the time. Please be assured that if you go to have your car worked on or to work on it yourself, you are bound to get a good service.

    Highly Recommended. EXCELLENT and extremely cost effective Service. In each of the 5 years that I have had an MOT and servicing at Pit Start I have been very happy. I went to Pit Start after another garage said I needed to do some work that was not actually required. You can work on your own car but I choose to use their professional mechanics. They are really friendly, helpful, professional and most importantly – honest. They will explain things to you and there is a culture of trying to keep customer costs down which comes from the self-service idea. They have also given me different options when buying parts – advising me that I could have original manufacturer parts or less expensive alternatives. So – I would recommend them very highly.
