   I’ve had a very positive experience with this surgery. The whole team is professional, supportive, and always makes me feel well cared for. I would especially like to mention Dr. Shah, who takes the time to understand my concerns, explains everything clearly, and ensures I receive the appropriate follow-up. When health issues arise, he is proactive in arranging the right specialist support, which shows how much he genuinely cares about each patient’s wellbeing. I’m truly grateful for the care I’ve received here and highly recommend this surgery.

   Moved to this surgery during Covid and have been really impressed with the service and staff over the last 5 years. I’ve always been able to get an appointment either in person or over the phone. I recently saw a lovely lady doctor who made me feel really listened to and helped with an issue I’ve had for years when others have just fobbed me off.

   This practice is highly recommended, I have been with them for a couple of years, they are excellent , I was with my old practice for over 20 years and the care wasn’t the best and my health wasn’t improving and couldn’t get seen. So took the plunge and moved The level of care is outstanding at West Heath Surgery , I tend to see Dr Shah as he understands my conditions fully and have a good patient- doctor relationship. The reception team are well experienced in there roles. Friendly and professional, have built up a good relationship with them as well. The surgery is open every day, if you need urgent care the lines open at 08:30, the reception desk is open from 8am so if you have an emergency for a loved one typically you can pop in and book an emergency appointment. The team is amazing, my mother in law was very unwell so we transferred her to West Heath Surgery, she was registered and seen the same day, referrals done the same day the staff went above and beyond to help. I recommend this surgery to everyone, my whole family and in-laws are now with West Heath Surgery and they also have the same opinion as myself.

   I have been a patient at this surgery for over 10 years and I can honestly say doctors are extremely professional, attentive, and truly take the time to listen and provide the best care possible. The reception team are also brilliant – always friendly, helpful, and efficient, making it easy to book appointments or get advice when needed. From the moment you walk in, you feel welcomed and well looked after. I feel very happy and grateful to have this surgery as my healthcare centre.

   I had a blood test scheduled at 13:20 at West Heath Surgery and I turned up on the dot, only to be told that the company collecting the blood samples had just left, so my test couldn't take place that day. Apparently the company "wouldn't wait",  despite being told there was still one more blood test to be done. I was given no notification of this, even though I had rung in the morning to confirm my appointment time, so was confident it would go ahead. This is after my previous blood test results came back as "inconclusive". I don't know who is to blame for this, but the company doing the blood tests comes across as very unprofessional. According to the receptionist, the GP practice are in talks with the company about their collection times for the blood samples, so a similar thing seems to have happened before to other patients. It does beg the question of why appointments are being given out at that time, if this is a recurring problem and the company refuses to wait until all the samples are done for that day before rushing off. This surgery have lots of good reviews on here and I will say that the nurse who took my initial blood sample was lovely. I was only with the practice for six months, so I never consulted a GP there. I am sure that the doctors, nurses and receptionists there work incredibly hard, as they do everywhere, so maybe my situation is part of a wider crisis of privatisation and/or lack of funding to the NHS. Either way, I hope it gets sorted soon for sake of other patients needing blood tests.

   Brilliant surgery, huge thanks to Dr Eagles and her team for their friendly, professional and warm approach to dealing with patients. At a time when the NHS is really struggling it makes a refreshing change to speak to GPs who genuinely seem concerned with your health and what to support the best way they can. Finally, also a huge thanks to the reception staff who replicate the courtesy of the GPs at this practice. 5 Stars.

   I’ve been at the surgery for as long as I can remember and I always have a good service. Dr Shah and Simon (paramedic) have been so helpful this year with my own illnesses and my daughters ENT refer all. I always feel heard and listened to and taken seriously. Reception team are fast and effective.

   I can't fault west heath doctors they have been fantastic for myself with all my health needs and my daughters ADHD and Autism, the staff are always friendly and even if no appointments face to face you can usually have a telephone consult.    This is a great surgery! They have been very professional in all matters and very helpful when needed. I have had quite a few blood tests taken and the nurses have managed to find my veins from the first try! That says a lot when you had problems with that all your life and have been pricked 3-4 times to get results. But the star has to be Dr. SHAH. He is just brilliant!sorted my son's eczema that we have been battling for more than a year, sorted my medical conditions and got the best help by recommending me to the program I needed. He is the most professional and knowledgeable GP I have met. Couldn't recommend him and the surgery any higher!
