   Completely took advantage of the fact I was a woman. I asked for a MOT and oil change and they did that PLUS adjust my headlights and change the air filter without calling ahead and asking for permission. They said it was my fault because I didn’t tell them to call me before them carry out any work but I strictly told them to do just the MOT and oil. Then they said it’s because they treat each car like their babies and if it was them they would want someone to do these things for them. Total came up to £215 but I got it down to £195 once they put my old air filter back. They went into parts of the car that aren’t covered by an MOT such as break fluid and spark plugs. Ultimately they did a service and charged me £60 on top for labour. Again, I asked for a MOT and oil change. They saw a young woman coming and they tried to rob me. They didn’t think I would have called up my dad and partner to check over exactly what I was being charge d for. Even when I paid £195, the guy was still trying to belittle and patronise me and say “next time to avoid all this, make sure you tell us that you want a call before the work is done” erm well next time do only the work that I have instructed you to do!

   I was recommended Brook Mews by a fellow cab driver as they do discounted MOT for PHV drivers. I had errands to run so I left my car with Ozzy but ran late getting back to collect my car. Ozzy waited an HOUR AFTER CLOSING TIME so I can get back and collect my car as I needed it for work that night. Customer service beyond anything I'd expect for a new customer!

   Was recommended this place by my husband and he was not wrong. What a lovely place. Nice and honest guy ready to help. Just be advised that its in a bit of a closed in area and can be hard to find. Also there are two different mechanic companies and its not the first as you drive in but the one at the bottom so make sure you go to the right one. Car serviced and few other things fixed at a very quickly and very reasonable price. Have booked a MOT for next week. Does get busy at peak time but very nice otherwise.

   Took my car to get MOT and service done; work was carried out in only a few hours. My car now feels smooth again to drive. The owner was very friendly and attentive ; explaining and showing me what work needed doing unlike other mechanics who do a bad job and charge you double. I will be back when I need more work done.
