   I am a 68 year old woman. I went with my Daughter her twin boys and my best friend,to have the solicitor witness and sign papers for a change of name ,the solicitor Frazer Foster,obviously didn't have a clue what he was doing,my daughter tried to explain, but he was short and rude to her. Ended up with an argument in front of reception. He clearly didn't know what to do,so blamed my daughter. Disgusting behaviour from a so called professional person. Would definitely not recommend this place to anyone.

   Do not use this particular solicitors. Absolutely disgusting and unprofessional behavior from Fraser Foster. We went regarding a statutory declaration he didn't have a clue what he was doing and in the end refused to do it! Incompetent and obnoxious. I will be submitting a formal complaint.

   Horrendous. My buyer used them and while they usually follow up complaints like this with some rot about how they only act in the best interests of their client, unless my buyer specifically instructed them to be as useless as possible, then they're lying. To start with, they sat on the whole thing for a month until we wondered what progress there might be. This spurred them to to the "searches". I have no idea what they were searching for, but it took months. For reference, I managed to buy the place in 4 weeks so it's not some weird corner case. They were then unwilling to raise the queries in parallel with the searches, this could have saved a lot of time, but saving time is an anathema to this lot. Finally they did raise queries, and after a LOT of pushing to get the contracts exchanged, finally came back with one question on the afternoon we were meant to be exchanging... a question about the extension. The house did not and never had an extension. The whole thing was only dragged kicking and screaming over the line by the persistence of our estate agent who had to call them constantly otherwise nothing would happen. Avoid, avoid, avoid.

   Slow, disinterested, causing everyone involved expensive delays and headaches, our estate agent was appalled at the level of chasing that was required, and to top it off they made mistakes one working day before completion date (referring to a completely different home to the one in question). "...always work in the best interest of our client" oh please... if you're buying/selling a house, avoid at all costs. Several other reviews demonstrate ours is not an isolated case. Useless. Bad. Avoid. Please.

   In the process of selling a small piece of land to my neighbour and unfortunately wosscow brown are my solicitor. I started with brogan then passed to Lindsay then told by stjohn that my small piece of land wasn’t as important as a full house sale, even though they are charging the same price. This transaction started in February and they never keep me informed. My neighbour is loosing money as he wants to sell his house and I would like to put up a fence. Never again with this lot and they will certainly not be recommended.
