Lovely and clean. The best part was breakfast, cooked by Simon, absolute legend who delivered the best breakfast - especially to my bacon loving son. Thank you for delivering. Also, poached eggs served how they should be. All delicious. Five stars+ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✨
We booked to stay here the night before an early flight from Birmingham airport. Rooms were outstanding and only a 20 minute drive from the airport. Staff were fantastic
Had a stay over the weekend for a reunion. Staff were excellent and accommodated everything we needed, made our reunion seem very special. Food excellent, room clean tidy and spacious. Excellent location for exploring Tamworth and access to road network for surrounding area. Excellent.
When I arrived, checkin with David was super easy and relaxed. Very impressed on how well organised the hotel and David is. Really friendly and welcoming! Room looks good, clean, and in good condition. Bathroom is also great :). Ordered food to take to my room and David even offered to keep an eye out for the delivery and offered to bring the food to my room. AMAZING GUY! Location wise its all good for me, staying one night for business purposes. Had a great stay and definitely the friendly staff made this stay even more enjoyable!
Booked this hotel as the photos have the impression of a refurbished hotel with lovely new furniture and modern facilities What greeted us was more like a hostel. A very run down one Unfortunately the staff were not able to help or assist and told me to ring guest relations in the morning Having stayed in lots of premier inn hotels this was by far the worst The bathroom cabinets are warped from being wet Bedding ripped with eye lashes and hair on it Scuffed walls and disgusting tiles on the ceiling where the fan/heating unit is The rooms are grubby and definitely not up to the premier inn standard We had two rooms booked for our family of 6 and its hard to decide which one is worse I do not recommend this hotel and I will never stay here again I feel utterly ripped off because what I was expecting couldn't be further from what we got
Quick check-in,excellent service, reasonable prices, cleanliness, good breakfast. I recommend it as an inexpensive and comfortable place where you can spend the night.
Not sign posted so if you not careful you miss the turn off and end up back on motorway. We wasn't told to book a table for evening meal and the breakfast was disgusting and cold. Not good at all.
Easy to find, lovely room and food. Room was rather too warm. We found the extra heater the thoughtful staff had put on to take the chill off the room next morning - we'd been too tired to notice it was still on the night before! Good breakfast.
WILL NOT USE AGAIN I have been booking this hotel for our trainees since September and the hotel had a lot of business put there way from our company but there attitude is terrible and they will not accept a complaint from me as I am complaining on my colleagues behalf. Our Head of HR stayed there on one of the nights in question and has tried to complain and they won't speak to her either. There were various issues but the attitude of the reception and restaurant staff was totally unacceptable. We book accommodation with a meal allowance for out employees and they were told by restaurant staff that if they didn't use there whole allowance the remaining money would not be refunded to our company but used for the Premier Inn staff christmas party. Also, one of our trainees had the following issue: "The quality of food was consistently poor, especially on the Monday evening when I ordered a half rack of ribs and chicken. The ribs were so dry, that they were unfortunately inedible and small. I received just a tail end of the ribs and the chicken could not be cut with a knife. Unfortunately, nothing else was remotely fresh on my plate so nothing was eaten. I highlighted my meal to the restaurant Manager who's name was Emma. She advised that the Ribs are cut in half to what ever size they come and she would not exchange my meal "you're not paying for" and walked off. After this the staff were very unprofessional with us and gave us poor, slow, sarcastic service and would huff at us if we asked for any condiments or extra drinks." Our accommodation costs for our trainees alone that week were over £2.5K, never mind anyone else staying from our business and you won't acknowledge our complaint. I will therefor not be using this hotel again even though it is very conveniently placed to our training facility.
