The premium room on the 13th floor on the corner was great. Clean and tidy. Mattress way too soft for my preference. Shower was lovely and hot with great amenities and fluffy white towels. The A/C didn't heat up, so had to turn it off to keep the room warm. All staff were help and cheerful. Breakfast was brilliant and I would be back just for that. Pretty building close to everything.

Stayed here for a weekend away, the hotel was lovely, the room was very spacious, we were on the 6th floor and had a great view. The hotel is very central, about 5 mins away from the train station and the buil ring. Only downside was the traffic outside the hotel causes snarl ups at busy times so plan this in if booking an Uber or taxi.

The first room I was allocated had a cigarette smoke smell with one of the fire alarms being covered up with a plastic bag.. this shouldn't be happening if house keeping have done a proper check... But I was moved to another room without any questions.. but in this room the heating didn't work! I was told about the broken heating before changing rooms.. but I'd rather have a cold room than a room that smells of cigarettes. Breakfast was ok.. nothing amazing.. what I was shocked about was that when I ordered an omelette with smoked salmon.. I was told that I had to pay extra for smoked salmon!... In all my years of starting at hotels, this was the first time I've heard of an extra charge if smoked salmon is available! I mentioned that I was a VIP member.. and the charge was waived..but charging extra for smoked salmon is ridiculous... omelette wasn't that nice... I would stay here again but I will lower my expectations of what to expect.. felt like a 3 star hotel rather than 4 star.

A decent hotel that’s starting to show its age. Location is compromised by the development of New Street and the BullRing making this part of town look very tired and run down. I had a beautiful suite but again the front side of this edifice is right on top of a very busy roundabout and the aging double glazing doesn’t cope. Staff were faultless and friendly. Breakfast not up to scratch in my opinion for a Blu level Radisson.

Radisson Blu Birmingham: Prime Location and a Truly Excellent Buffet Breakfast The Radisson Blu in Birmingham offers a consistently high-quality experience, perfectly positioned for both business travelers and city visitors. Its iconic, contemporary glass tower is a recognizable landmark, and the location is arguably one of the best in the city—just a stone's throw from New Street Station, the Bullring shopping centre, and the vibrant business district. The convenience alone makes this hotel a top choice for navigating Birmingham's core. The general aesthetic of the hotel is sleek, modern, and well-maintained. Check-in was swift and professional, and the rooms—featuring the signature Radisson style—were comfortable, quiet, and thoughtfully appointed. The beds provided an excellent night's sleep, and the views from the higher floors over the city skyline are a nice bonus. However, the real highlight of the stay, and the feature that truly elevates the experience, is the Buffet Breakfast. This is far from a standard hotel offering; it is a genuinely expansive and delicious start to the day. The spread covers every base, offering a full range of high-quality hot items—perfectly cooked sausages, crispy bacon, fluffy scrambled eggs, and fresh mushrooms—all replenished frequently. For those who prefer lighter options, the selection of fresh fruit, yogurts, pastries, and cereals is impressive. Crucially, the quality of the ingredients stands out, making it feel less like a large-scale catering operation and more like a carefully curated meal. The coffee was strong, the juices were fresh, and the staff maintaining the area were exceptionally attentive, ensuring tables were cleared quickly and the stations remained immaculate. It’s an easy five-star breakfast experience that provides great value compared to seeking a similar meal out in the city. In summary, the Radisson Blu delivers on its promise of a premium city hotel. While the rooms and location are excellent, it’s the superb service and the outstanding buffet breakfast that truly sets it apart. Rating: 4.5/5

Me and my boyfriend went for our anniversary. We stayed in a premium king bed room I believe. We were on the 18th floor and the view was really nice. The staff were so nice, they gave us everything we needed. The bar had a range of options as well as the breakfast. The rooms were clean, the beds were so big and comfy. I love the complimentary bottles of water in the room, as well as the coffee and tea. Really nice evening and a good experience.

Stayed here last night for one night as we (myself & my 10 yr old) as we had Theatre ticket's for the Hippodrome. Location is perfect, not just for the theatre which is about a 5 to 10 minute walk max, but also for finding places to eat as well & not that far from New Street Train Station, also now known as Grand Central Station Not stayed here before, but I can definitely say we will be returning. Our room was really big, the bed was super comfy & the room was spotlessly clean. Every member of staff we saw or spoke to, nothing was too much for them, from Reception, Bar Person. Breakfast staff. Thank you for making our stay a very enjoyable one!!

It all started with the doormen. We were checking late and had a great welcome. What a nice men. Polite, helpful, dedicated and a great salesman… sold us on the breakfast in no time. He was also very helpful with my son who had gotten lost. The hotel is great, rooms are nice and service top notch. Loved it!

Our conference rooms attracted sunshine all day, which helped maintain energy levels. Nice buffet lunch. Easily accessible by road. NCP car park next door suits a smaller vehicle. Big lifts, slow to arrive. Good coffee machine.
