   Originally wrote a massive, detailed review, but looks like I broke the word limit. So this is a short precis version. Attended showroom, discussed requirements, clarified and assured quantities, and was given a price. Seemed reasonable. Placed the order. Was given a folded top-sheet off a duplicate order pad. Then discussed payment and lead time. Cash on collection, no prepayment/deposit, and would be several weeks. Several weeks later, I attend and there is only HALF the order. Ordered 2x new foam inserts and 2x new cushion covers for a sofa. Why on earth would I order just one cushion, that would then be a complete mismatch for the original?? Edit: When they checked the order, it said only ONE. I never noticed, as the order sheet was folded and I never had to sign it (otherwise I would have seen the error/mismatch). But we just verbally doubled checked ONE or TWO; before the order was quoted. ( I was deliberating originally over whether to keep using one original foam insert, or replace both. But ALWAYS needed the 2x covers, for the fabric to match). Left the goods at the store. No point me taking a mismatch solo item. The order taker was off that day; so no-one could explain it. Had to go away on business overseas, so wrote them (email: address from website) on 24th June 2025. Now back on 3rd August and not had any reply. Ghosted... I'm not good at 1-2-1 real-time confrontation, but really want this sorting somehow. Don't want to pay double the price I was given, to get what I want. How do we resolve please? If someone from Hayes sees this: maybe you'll reach out and reply to the email? Giving 3x stars, as the quality of the item is great. Impressed. Just not happy with the order mixup and being ghosted. Feel either duped on the price to get the order, or it's been some kind of mistake they now don't want to fix or resolve.

   We have just had our reupholstered sofas, a footstool and 6 dining chairs returned to us and are delighted with the results. The staff at Hayes have been excellent since the day we walked into their showroom to make enquiries about reupholstering our lounge sofas and footstool and the dining chairs. The sofas and footstool were over 20 years old, had lived through family life and all it entails and, more recently along with the dining chairs, the destruction created by our daughter's two young cats. They all looked a very sorry sight (see attached photos). Hayes were very helpful giving us advice about the types of fabrics that might work. We were then able to bring home several sample books and choose a fabric. They gave us a quote which was the price we paid in the end. They also collected the furniture as agreed and delivered it back on the date they said. Well done Hayes, we are very happy with the results (see photos) and we have no hesitation in recommending your services.

   Collected my recovered dining chairs on Saturday after taking them in on Wednesday . They look amazing. The quality and finish is excellent. The staff were extremely professional. I would highly recommend this company. I only wish I had known about them before I bought my new suite from elsewhere as I would have had it recovered.
