   Really enjoyed our stay at Frederick Street Townhouse. Located in the Jewellery Quarter, only a short walk from the city centre, we enjoyed the quieter streets away from the noise. Check in and enquiries handled from the bar next door - staff helpful and friendly. Key given to Townhouse front door so you can come and go as you please. Rooms well decorated with just a few minor issues. Our curtains did not hang covering the edges or middle of the windows so we had light coming in. Building is very old and you are warned of noise from outside (which was actually minimal for us) and I am aware soundproofing can be limited in such places. However, there was a good size gap at the bottom of our door which meant we clearly heard all comings and goings from the hall, halting our sleep in the mornings. This could be improved. Otherwise a nice stay, and I would also recommend the Button Factory bar it is attached to for food and drinks.

   The room was spacious and comfortable, comfortable bed, so a great nights sleep. Checking in was no problem, staff seemed helpful enough. Unfortunately service went downhill after that. Went down to ask for extra milk, was told some would be put in the fridge for us, we asked twice put still no milk!! Breakfast this morning was very disappointing. We were down just after 9a.m & there was hardly anything left. We have better breakfast choices at The Premier Inn!!!

   Lovely rooms, decent location, nice staff. The problem is that it's attached to a loud pub and on both sides of the building there is banging music until late all weekend. I can't speak for what it's like on a week night. We moved to the back and the sound was a bit better but there was a beer garden with a band playing live there too. Being at the front is genuinely unliveable. You'd have to stay out of your room between 2pm and 2am unless you want to feel like you're living inside a speaker system with a bunch of lads with pints staring through your window (curtains have seen much better days). The breakfast was great on the first day but ran out on the second - I suspect they maybe buy it in on the Saturday and expect it to last (quite bizarre). If you're deaf or not going to be in your room for more than a change of clothes then I can heartily recommend this place. The pub does great orange wine and the staff are friendly.

   Great hotel well positioned next to The Button Factory Pub (but with no noise), and next to the best Nepalese restaurant ever. The Hotel is everything you need - clean, comfortable, well equipped and reasonably priced. Can't fault it and would recommend to anyone.

   The staff were very friendly and the accommodation was clean and very well decorated. Parking on the street is limited to 2 hours but free from 6pm. We arrive at 4pm so we parked up and then had to move the car in the morning at 8am and pay for an additional 2 hours. There is a multi storey up the road but it closes at 8.30pm and I don't think you can stay overnight. The hotel is very well located near some lovely bars and restaurants and if you want to go into the centre the train is a 6 minute walk away. My only recommendation if you're staying on a Friday or Saturday night, bring ear plugs. The bar downstairs plays loud music until around 1am so if like us you want an early night it's not easy to get off to sleep without ear plugs. I always keep some when we travel so my night was undisputed. The rooms are not air conditioned. But don't have fans for cooling the room but obviously you will need to open the window which will increase the noise. In the room we had the usual tea and coffee facilities and I was very happy to see a Taylors coffee bag. The hotel gets high praise from me for the coffee bags. Hotel coffee is usually so rubbish. There were lots of sockets in the room, a huge mirror (again not always the case so I loved that too). The bathroom was spacious and the shower was lovely and powerful. Overall I'd highly recommend (with earplugs) and definitely stay here again. Hotel - maybe think about getting some earplugs to offer to your guests...

   Overall very nice stay. Location is great. Room decor is superb, rooms very spacious, heating in our room was very good. Only drawback is breakfast - lacks eggs/protein, and mattress in our room was too soft, still slept alright on it

   We had a great stay here, the room was clean, comfy and well presented. The staff were very friendly and welcoming, the button factory next door was great for drinks and bite to eat. Definitely recommend and will be returning.

   Really nice stay here, I was pleasantly surprised at how well decorated and modern the inside was here. The host was very friendly and the stay overall was good value for money! Only minus a star for some small issues really: tv had no buttons and the remote didn’t work, window wouldn’t stay open for air and the front door didn’t seem very secure. Just small things.

   Excellent location for visiting the arena, canals and shops. Staff very friendly and rooms spacious and comfortable. No on-site parking but there is on street parking nearby. Some reviews mention not knowing what to do at check in but there's a big sign on the door telling you to go into adjoining bar for the staff!
