The staff are so lovely and friendly and they work so hard!! They do a fantastic job on my nails and I always love watching what other people are getting, they do some amazing stuff!!! If you want good nail technicians this is the place to go

I went in to get acrylic nails with a design but the nail tech instead cut my skin when removing cuticles multiple times and kept applying something that has now made my skin around my nails incredibly dry and has made the skin peel back and it is very raw and sore. As well as this, the nail tech picked colours based on the design that I gave them but picked the wrong colours and I didn't know when to interject as I'm unfamiliar with the process and haven't had my nails done before, they also left sharp and uneven edges around the nails and seemed to rush the design and overly simplify it, only asking if I was okay with the design after creating the shape of the nails and after they were done. Two of the nails on each hand were done well. At least the wait time was good
They do the most beautiful nails, but honestly if you are black I wouldn’t recommend going there. The stark difference in treatment between the white people in the shop and me honestly made me feel like a fish in a bowl, and sick to my stomach. When I walked in I wasn’t given the same welcome of “Hi honey” despite this being my regular nail salon for the last 4 years. Instead everyone just turned their heads, including customers, and looked at me as if I was intruding. I told the workers what design I wanted and where usually I would’ve sat down, I couldn’t and had to stand because the white customers didn’t deem it necessary to make room for me. I stood for 30 mins, meanwhile when other white customers entered people would move up for them to sit. Eventually one of the workers told me I could sit on one of the spa chairs while I waited. Despite being there ahead of people, 5 of them were served before me. When they eventually started doing my nails, I was moved between 3 locations and 3 nail techs who would take breaks and go and finish the nails of people who walked in after me. Despite me feeling so out of place and saddened by this experience, I still tried to engage in conversation with the nail tech who did the design on my nails, but I was given cold one word answers. When I left I said thankyou and wished them all a merry Christmas, I recieved no reply and it was asif no one heard me. However when everyone else left they were offered a token for Christmas and also were told “all the best have a lovely Christmas and new year”. I’m really disappointed by this experience as I look forward to getting my nails done when I’m back from Uni, but I won’t be returning.
I've had my nails done here a few times after a recommendation from my friend and now I wouldn't go anywhere else! It's a family business and everyone that works there is so lovely and friendly. They're professional, efficient and so good at what they do! As well as having a French pedicure, I asked for a French manicure with little flowers on as an added extra and they smashed it, I'm so happy with them! Thank you MD Nails! :)
I recently moved to Liverpool and have been looking for my new go-to spot for nails extensions. I've tried four different salons before going to MD, but no place came up to my expectations. The form is strange or they don't get what I'm asking for. But MD is different. They are so attentive and professional, my nails turned out exactly the way I wanted. I'm really happy I found my new favourite salon!!!
Professional and attentive staff. For both the gel mani and pedi, she made sure I was satisfied with my nails at every step. The salon also has an elegant and relaxing atmosphere! I’ll definitely return!
I’ve just got a mani pedi with gel colour at MD, and it was fantastic! The nail technician was really careful with my natural nails while removing old, lengthy acrylics. She does my cuticles carefully and cleans with a brush after each layer of polish, which shows how attentive she is.
I’ve had my nails done here a few times and it's been wonderful every time. The nail technicians always pay close attention to detail, and the salon is tidy and well-organised.
I decided to get my nails newly done since my bestie’s birthday is coming . I considered many salons before choosing MD, and I'm pleased that I did. I had acrylic nails with nail designs. I made an appointment on their Facebook, but walk-ins were acceptable as well. I was seated quickly, and the pedicure began right away. The environment was tidy and lovely. The staff is really kind and professional. I'm pleased I had the chance to visit this salon since I really like it. This is officially my new go-to salon!
