   I am writing this review after someone else I knew has also a disappointing experience at Dental Design and I think it’s important to make people aware of the practices done here. I went to Dental Design in April 2025 for my 6 monthly NHS check up. At the appointment, the dentist decided there was one tooth after her visual check up of my teeth, she felt ‘looked like an issue’ and she decided to X-ray it individually. To my surprise, she said it needed a filling urgently within the next week. It felt very pushy. I booked in for a filling a few days later, but cancelled the appointment when I got home. In the meantime, I had my teeth checked with another private dentist in another practice. After receiving all my X-rays from Northwood Dental design, I sent these to my new dentist. I had to ask more than once to receive copies of my X-rays, (one which was sent to me wasn’t even named and dated and I had to ask multiple times for the details). Once I got these and forwarded on, my new dentist says there was NO NEED AT ALL FOR A FILLING!! I appreciate people in the medical field might have different opinions, but it is extremely concerning I was pushed towards a procedure that I didn’t need. Thankfully, I listened to my gut. I would advise people to proceed with caution with this practice.

   A great experience having my crown replaced. So professional. I even had a colour match to ensure no difference would be noticed. I also felt no pain which is important to me. My dentist Nila was amazing, putting me totally at ease. Nurse Alina was great. Great duo. Thank you so much. I definitely recommend.

   I was incredibly nervous going to the dentist, Dr Paras was incredibly patient with me, He was very reassuring about my treatment and had such a professional and respectful manner. I was pleased that what is normally a negative experience for me was for the first time in many years, a positive one. Would certainly recommend this dental practice.

   Really positive experience here. I'd had quite a bad bike accident which affected my front teeth, but Dr. Paras was very kind and patient. He worked with me during the whole experience, keeping me up to date with each stage and going above and beyond to check in and make sure I was happy. He was also very skillful, and I've left with better teeth than before the accident!

I felt both the dentist and hygienist genuinely care about my well-being and took the time to explain procedures and checked in with me to ensure I was okay. Really caring professionals.

   Would highly recommend. I recently visited the surgery after slacking with my dental care during the COVID pandemic. My dentist Raziya was very caring and professional and my teeth feel great now (wish i had attended sooner). She explained everything so well and the treatment itself was gentle and I felt comfortable throughout. The staff at reception are also excellent. Thank you

   Really liked the dentist I met here Dr Sue. I took my 10 year old daughter for a hygiene appointment and she explained very well on how to brush, correct techniques and the timings was correct as she has adult teeth now, so very pleased with the surgery. He assistant was also kind and helped us. Highly recommend this place to anyone who is looking for a good Dental practice.
