   Carmen is by far the best massage therapist I’ve ever had. She is extremely polite, highly skilled, and very knowledgeable. She seems to know all the techniques from every type of massage I’ve experienced over the years, and I’ve had many as I travel frequently and always try massages in different countries. After the session, my whole body felt completely relaxed, all my pain had disappeared, and I slept like a baby once I got home. The only part I didn’t enjoy was the moment I was about to leave. The owner came over, looked at me in a strange way, and without saying hello or offering any kind of greeting, simply asked, “Is everything alright” just as I was showing Carmen some of her great reviews on Google. His tone and expression made me feel quite uncomfortable and unwelcome. That said, the massage itself was absolutely amazing. Carmen is truly exceptional. I highly recommend her to anyone suffering from physical pain, fatigue or stress.

   I went to Carmen and she was amazing for 90 minute full body deep tissue massage. She was lovely and friendly. We discussed problem areas before and then she gave recommendations at the end. Thank you Carmen!

   Fantastic, firm massage from Carmen! Really helped a sore neck and shoulder. Understood the issue and is clearly very experienced and enjoys doing the job right. Basic premises…. But who cares as long as it’s clean, comfortable and relaxing and the massage does the trick! Will definitely be visiting again soon!

   Was given a voucher for here as a gift. I had a full body, deep tissue massage with Carmen. Carmen used various techniques to relieve my tension and aches. I like a firm massage and Carmen certainly did that. She did check the pressure was O.K. I have a bad lower back and Carmen did lots to help relieve this. My shoulders were also very tense and Carmen worked her magic. It definitely was a deep tissue massage. I felt great. Afterwards Carmen talked to me about my body and the parts she worked on. Carmen was very professional, put me at ease and explained some of the techniques she had used. Highly recommend and I will be back. Thank you.

   I go to massage places often and thought to try this one due to the good reviews. Oh dear I regretted! The massage was the worst I ever had internationally and locally! The masseuse Aisha started the booked and paid 2-hour session by stating that the session is long and will be too tired for her. This unpleasant introduction continued with a further debate with me on if I understand the difference between a more gentle (Swedish) and a stronger (deep-tissue) massage when I was already lying down in the table with her hands on my body. The masseuse used bad techniques (mainly pressing with elbows) to make me feel so painful at places which were not painful or tired before the message - so I had to tell her myself that the pressure is too hard and she can then just give me a lighter Swedish massage instead. I had 2-hour massage many times in Manchester but it never went like this.. The masseuse claimed that she would give me some foot, hand, face, and head massage in order to fill the 2 hours but then ended up basically just oiling my feet, hands, face, and hair for so so long and lightly touching my hair without any massage. She always wanted to sit down on a chair which doesn't fit into the space of the room and stucked and stepped on my hair many times. At the end of the session, I had so much excessive oil left on my face and body with a bad mood and more painful legs. I have never left bad reviews to public before and always would like to support local businesses. But this one is unbearable and not what a massage, therapeutic place should be like! I strongly do not recommend this place.

   The deep tissue full body massage was definitely one, if not the, best I've experienced to date. Millie is a fantastic therapist, working on the knots and really tuning in to my body. I cannot recommend her or the centre enough!

   Excellent massage from the masseuse Beth who was really friendly and offered helpful advice about managing my sports injury. Treatment prices at the centre are reasonable and they offer flexible appointment times due to late night closing times on weekdays. I will be using the centre again in future.

   This establishment is amazing. The staff are wonderful and very professional. I have learnt a great deal from the tutors having studied here and learned how to massage. I owe all I know to the vast amount of knowledge gained from studying here. Plus visiting as a model for other students to practice their holistic therapy skills on is a great opportunity to meet a multitude of amazing people and to make new friends....I love visiting Manchester Therapy Centre.
