This is a review for a young man called Corey who is a deposit specialist . Corey from start to finish of a difficult situation , guided me through getting my part of my deposit back , he emailed every single day with updates. We spoke on the phone most days trying to get the issue resolved . He handled it with such compassion , care and understanding and never failed to exceed his job role . In my opinion he is an asset to the company and deserves credit where it’s due and in this case he has made the process that has being a long one much less stressful than it could have been . Chattings Lettings was amazing from viewing the property on Monday and having all the documents signed and keys handed to us on Friday in the same week. As a landlord I have been a client of Chattings for many years. I have always found the personnel to be professional and knowledgeable. Whenever any issues from the tenants have arisen, and there have been many, I have found that the responses and remedies have been acted upon promptly and to the satisfaction of both myself and the tenants. When there has been a change of tenancy they have been very quick to advertise and secure new tenants.
Certainly in terms of the experience securing the property, Chattings were absolutely superb - responsive to calls and emails, did what they said they would and then some and kept on top of issues till they were resolved. The manager and Joshua were extremely helpful and professional, from my initial enquiry all the way through to collecting the keys. I sincerely hope this is a sign of professionalism to come. I contacted Chattings to let a property in Lichfield City Centre. All the team in the office when I popped in were really friendly, it was one of the staff’s Birthdays (Josh I think) and for a moment thought they were going to invite me out for the after work drinks with them! The person who dealt with me, Karen (ironically the manager), understood my requirements and set to work finding me somewhere I could (hopefully) call home. Within minutes she’d found me a lovely 2 bed house and arranged my viewing with the Landlord. The place was great but sadly slightly too small to home my massive retro orange velvet sofa, a deal breaker for me. Next up she found me a lovely sunny apartment close to the train station which she was certain would be big enough to accommodate it and boy was she right! A lovely 1st floor 2 bed apartment at a reasonable price too. Due to my working hours she arranged to personally show me around at a time suitable to me outside of the normal hours. During the show round she was very professional, left me to it and let the property do the talking. Sadly I was beaten to it, unsurprisingly given the property. She has continued to keep me updated on new properties that come up. Given the calibre of properties they get at Chattings, you need to move quick!
