   As someone who has always been extremely anxious and nervous about dental visits, I was dreading my first appointment. I was embarrassed with how long it had been since my last teeth clean. However, Dr Rana IMMEDIATELY put me at ease from my first consultation with her all the way back in 2018. Calm, professional and thorough, I will always recommend Forest Dental to anyone who needs a dentist. She takes the time to explain what is happening, why it's happening and what her professional recommendation is for treatment. 7 years later, I can't imagine going to any other dentist and trusting them with my teeth and I'm already dreading when Dr Rana does eventually retire.

   I have always received excellent care from Dr Rana. Dr Rana is very professional and has an excellent patient manner and I have always found that she takes time to explain any treatment and the reason it is needed and which is really appreciated. Dr Rana is supported by friendly and efficient staff at the practice. I would really recommend Dr Rana and Forest Dental.

   I have had two distressing experiences with Dr. Rana. Most recently, just the other week, I attended a routine appointment. Six months earlier I had been told my gums were healthy, but this time I was suddenly told I had gum disease, that my teeth were very dirty and would eventually fall out, and was handed a £1000 treatment plan on the spot. The diagnosis was delivered so abruptly that I left the practice in shock and very upset. Thankfully, I sought a second opinion from a highly recommended Bupa dentist after moving to Scotland. They confirmed my gums and teeth are healthy (all 0s and just a couple of 1s for gum scores). Another hygienist also praised my home care and said I was doing an excellent job. If I had not questioned Dr. Rana’s diagnosis, I would have spent thousands of pounds over the years on unnecessary treatments. In my experience, this practice relies on fear tactics and pressure rather than evidence-based care. I cannot recommend them. Additionally, about four years ago, I was told I needed some kind of antibacterial spray applied to each molar at £80 per tooth — something I later realised was completely unnecessary. I think there is a pattern of charging for highly expensive and unnecessary procedures to make as much money as possible from patients.

   As someone who has always been extremely anxious about dental visits, I was dreading this appointment. But from the moment I walked in, Dr. Metha and all the staff made me feel completely at ease. They were warm, welcoming, and incredibly patient. The clinic has a calming atmosphere, and the dentist was exceptional, gentle, reassuring, and communicative throughout the entire process. I felt listened to and cared for every step of the way. If you're nervous about going to the dentist, Forest Dental is the place to go. I can’t recommend them highly enough!"

   My family and I have been coming back to Forest Dental for years, there's a family-friendly and comforting environment. Despite slight anxiety, Dr Rana even kept me at ease during my root canal treatment! If you are looking for a caring and empathetic dentist then look no further. Amazing dental practice and I highly recommend you and your family check this place out.

   I can highly recommend Dr Rana. Before my treatment and first appointment I was quite nervous about the potential outcome because my situatiation was tricky. Dr. Rana was very friendly, helpful and professional from impression #1 to the goodbye handshake at the end. I was very impressed by her skill as dentist, how quick she was in cooperation with her equally friendly assistant and her way of finding the best solution for me. Needless to say, I love the result.

I was immediately put at ease and found Dr. Rana to be very professional, gentle and thorough in her work and would highly recommend to anyone who wants a family dentist.
