Over 30 years ago, I fractured my index finger and for the last 12 months, I have been in pain due to a mixture of arthritis and swelling. Katia treated my finger with a combination of acupuncture and myofascial release. The pain and discomfort were massively reduced after one session and gone all together after the second treatment. Absolutely brilliant, I cannot recommend Katia highly enough !
When I had COVID recently, I experienced extreme pain in my neck and shoulder, resulting in losing the use of my arm. The nerve bundles in my neck were damaged (brachial neuritis), for which there is sadly no treatment, or much expectation of recovery. Railing against this bleak prognosis, I gradually re-learned the use of my arm though repeated gentle movements supported in water. After four weeks I had improved mobility, but still could not raise my arm above water. Katia mentioned that she had success with nerve recovery (dropped foot) and offered some unique acupuncture with electrical pulses (like tens). After just one session, my arm became sufficiently stable that I could raise it - which gave my recovery a huge boost.
