Dr cook is amazing. Really checks for everything that could possibly be wrong and takes his time. Super with my child who I took in today and did all the checks that should be done and hopefully she’s on the mend now. Can’t praise him enough.

I saw Doctor Brownlow for the first time and which will be the last time. I have never been treated so abrupt and coldly by a person before, let alone a professional doctor. After opening up to the doctor about a very traumatic and sensitive subject which is not easy to discuss, the doctor was extremely unhelpful, unsupportive and did not show any signs of empathy towards my personal circumstances/situation. I requested a report of my records for a personal matter which I was responded abruptly with No, I had to go through legal requirements for this - a solicitor to get written confirmation of what I have gone through and there was fees I would need to pay for this however most people don't want to pay them. I felt judged and unsupported. When I was reduced to tears from my experience with this Doctor, It was then that she could print out my records all of a sudden there and then. I have seen other doctors (Doctor Soar & Dr Lewis) at this surgery over the past 2 years who have been extremely supportive, kind and helpful during an extremely difficult time I have gone through and I am very shocked and upset by the experience I have just had. When I called Siobhan the practice manager of the surgery, my experience again was not helpful or supportive in any way. Siobhan did not handle the situation well, as when crying down the phone explaining the treatment I had received by the Doctor - Siobhan replied with how lovely and empathetic this doctor is. Also stating on the majority of the call irrelevant information to my complaint and judging me also. I have never experienced anything like this before in my life and as a strong individual who had such an upsetting experience with these people, I would hate for anyone in a vulnerable way to have to experience this cold, abrupt and unsupportive/unhelpful service from Doctor Brownlow and Siobhan.

Been for flu and covid jab. Matter of minutes of registering, queuing, jabs and out the door. Brilliant.

Tried ringing for an appointment but phone message states the surgery is closed and is quoting Easter opening hours (in September) Online NHS Prescription service doesn't work either! They need to sort their admin out! Will have to drive there to get sorted

Very caring staff. Dr Ragsdell always goes above and beyond making sure everything is okay. Couldn't ask for more.

Very kind reception team, always smiling and helpful. Doctors I've seen have been very polite and listen. They make you feel relaxed and the experience of a doctors visit that little bit better.
