Visited for our daughter’s 14th birthday and had a lovely meal. Our 3 year old was well accommodated and enjoyed his meal. I have coeliac disease and had a great choice on the menu. Didn’t expect to eat dough balls or a fabulous pizza! Thank you!
Good service, nice restaurant with a good atmosphere. The food is just so diabolically bad and stingy. An £18 ceasar salad - miniscule. Some unwashed iceberg and rocket straight out the packet in a small bowl. A bit of shredded chicken on top, packet croutons, couple of slithers of anchovies and a bit of boiled egg, with a thimble of dressing in a pot. Then some bread on top to fill it out. The pizzas - some of them are tiny and the dough is neither New York, or Italian. It’s the kind you can make at home in a domestic oven. And for what it is it’s expensive. London’s one of the most expensive cities in the world and there’s loads of places doing pizza in London for 4,5,6,7, 8 pounds. At Icco the pizzas are £4-6 in central London and beautiful crisp and generous. Pizza ingredients are dirt cheap! Yes other costs are going up staff, taxes, rent. But the mark up on some of these dishes is 10 - 15 times the ingredient costs. Desserts were made by the waiters on top of the drinks fridges. It’s not proper cooking but it’s restaurant prices. Other than that, lovely lady serving us.
Please ignore previous review... no idea how that was posted as we had a great time last night and everyone did amazingly well with our group of 20 including very excited 7 year old. We love pizza express sunningdale!
I walked in tonight, type 1 diabetic who had already administered my insulin earlier ( but unable to eat at previous place) so asked if I place my order could there be a possibility of a quick turnaround. I was then told by Anass the waiter that they will put my order to the top, of a very busy restaurant. Infact Anass then without any hesitation brought out a plate of doughballs for me to be going on with, on the house. Outstanding assistance and understanding of my predicament. Plus. The food was delicious and the layout of the restaurant and atmosphere really exceptional. I recommend this restaurant highly.
My friend and I visited today (28th August) and our server (the only guy working aside from the chef) was superb! He was fast, efficient, kind & friendly. He provided great service despite the busy restaurant! Thank you man working around 2-4pm, whose name we did not ask! Food was banging as usual too

This is our favourite pizza express. The staff are great, but most importantly the pizzas made here are always really good, often awesome.
Friendly staff and were good with our kids of 3 and 9. You always know what you're going to get with a Pizza Express. Food was ok but split level building might be a problem for some.
The pricing was reasonable and the quality of the pizza was one of the best I ever had.
What can I say! - we thought it was going to be a quick pizza and home, but we received such an incredibly friendly welcome from all the team and within 2mins the kids where invited to add the toppings to their own pizza and even play with the dough - all the team from the two guys in the kitchen to the team front of hour where excellent - Emily was our waitress and was great fun and really accommodating to my 3 and 5year olds demands!! - to capture the event I have some fun photos to share with this review
