   We visited this quirky and charming café recently and really enjoyed the atmosphere. The place has a lovely vibe, and the food itself was absolutely delicious. Unfortunately, there was an issue with our order. We asked specifically for no butter for my partner, who is dairy-intolerant, but his meal was served with butter. As a result, he became quite unwell afterwards, which was disappointing. That said, the staff handled the situation very well. They were genuinely apologetic, took responsibility for the mistake, and did not charge us for the meal. Their response was appreciated, even though the error had serious consequences for us. Overall, great food and a lovely environment, but we hope they take extra care with dietary requirements in the future.

   Fantastic area, if you like history. Love the old mill deco. Unfortunately staff don't seem to know what they are doing or customer service. We were greated with " What you having" No hello ect, then stood talking for what seemed like ages. Food was lovely but took a while, to get served. Worth the wait. I had to ask someone to take our order, miserable dark hair woman. Fella who brought food was friendly.

   Food is expensive for what we ordered but is of good quality. Service was OK. A little slow to take our order though. We were sat by the bookcases and there were 2 people on the other side talking very loudly, unfortunately there weren't enough books in the bookcase to muffle the sound.

   I have been here several times with my partner and with one of my friends. It's always a great and positive experience. From the moment you walk in, you are made to feel welcome and valued as a customer. All the staff are friendly and smile, food is great, well cooked, well presented and tasty.. service is excellent, prices very reasonable. My new favourite place to eat, chat, and relax. Tables are well spaced out and the whole place is very clean. Well done each and every one of you who work there. What a team!!!. I was there on Saturday and again today, Monday 1st Sept...See you again very soon, Barbara x
