Went in for a few things. I used to do my full weekly shop here. I asked an employee if they had any half priced Champagne left. He looked at me with disdain and pointed in the direction. Ok fair enough it was New Years Eve and the employee probably didn't want to be there. I then went to pay at the manned till. The price didn't reduce. I mentioned this to the lady and was scolded in front of other shoppers that I needed to swipe my More card. Again fair enough, but didn't expect such a stern sarcastic loud reply. Ended up feeling like a naughty school child. This is why I don't give them my custom any more. Awful unwelcoming place.

The store may even be "convenient" but in 4 years experience, I still haven't been over the urge of "avoid Morrison's like plague". I usually buy at Tesco and it has much higher qualities products and availability. Pancakes are burnt, fruit is very frequently tasteless (Tesco grapes for example are 3 time sweeter). Stuff is on shelves with promotions and they charge you full at the till (and this was not a purchase mistake). Products availability is often scarce. Can't stop having bad experience. Honestly prefer to spend a few quids more on a convenience Tesco than on this Morrison's.

Terrible service from the pharmacy. I've highlighted to branch manager more than once. I tried to tell manager what the problem was but they didn't let me finish so they didn't get the full story. I did not feel heard. Then they just protected the poor service. So now I understand why the service is so poor and that it will never improve as they don't even listen. Morrisons are obviously happy to provide a poor service & the managers back it. And looking at all your online reviews giving Morrisons a rating of barely a 3 says it all really.

It is convenient but often feels very messy, gaps on shelves and aisles cluttered with stock trolleys or trolleys with collapsed packaging. Cluttered end of aisles with extra impulse purchase 'temptations'.Not many people topping up shelves so lots of gaps and messy shelves. Recent changes of stock locations on shelves doubled shopping time. A lot of annoyed customers trying to find shopping list items. Lots of above aisle signs do not correspond to items on the shelves. Will drive a few miles to Tescos as it is more stock serviced. Less cluttered and time saved is worth the drive.

Quick, cheap, easy and wasn't busy...you even see them cooking as well (open plan), but wasn't asked if I wanted Brown or White toast and there were no tea spoons on display for cups shouldn't be working in slippery environment with hot stoves and fryers...as catering member require a New Pair of shoes as the bottom sole was flapping around like a fish on dry land. Was nearly tempted to buy him a pack of rubber bands or even new pair of shoes. He nearly tripped over at one point when serving a customer...

Its ok but is fast becoming the most expensive supermarket chains. Can't fault the range and presentation of the stores. The restaurant is always good value though.

This particular store has a great salad bar, plenty of variety of pastas good vegetarian selection too. The falafel and onion bhaji selection was very tasty indeed. Prices are very reasonable, staff are always polite and friendly, plenty of free parking here too. The fresh cream cakes on display were irresistible, tried to avoid them but couldn't, very tasty!

We have 3 Morrisons local to us, none are bad, but this one is particularly well managed and therefore our go to store. The staff are polite; the store very well laid out, tidy, well stocked and a nice environment to carry out the weekly shop. Jim & Beth

Just done big Xmas shop on Thursday evening and was seved on till 8 by the rudest person ever.. absolutely no customer service skills whatsoever. Not a pleasant word or a smile..and literally threw shopping into packing area. No customer service desk to make a complaint. Wont be back doing a big shop ever...come on Morrisons train your staff properly.

To be honest I think I had always underrated Chesterβs Morrisons. TESCO superstore has been my number go to when I want to buy household items. Of course ALDI remains my number one for food items. However, sisterβs suggestion to go to Morrisons for the household items I needed today was received with plenty of doubt as to whether I would get the items but to my surprise items I never conceived I could get in Morrisons were all available that I have to confess to her that I had always underestimated Chesterβs Morrisons. The funny thing is Morrisons is just 5 minutes walk away from me and TESCO Superstore is about 25minutes walk and Iβd always opted for the latter but after todayβs experience thatβs about to change. I couldnβt take a lot of photos as I was over excited but in my next visit I will show you the possibilities at Chester Morrisons Store.
