   I would like to share my experience today while visiting this store. I am a wheelchair user and was in Asda Cafe when the lift broke down. I cannot thank Claire ( cafe manager) and the following staff Shad, Ollie, Andrew, Phil, and Sharon enough as they arranged for me to be carried downstairs safely. I also had a free drink while waiting. Thank you xx

   Worst pizza counter ever!!!! No cover. Poor worker left on her own to man the desk. Just disgusting and lengthy waiting times I mean 50 mins kind of time. Consider me no longer a customer

   This store constantly runs out of everyday basic items, and once they're out of stock on an item it can be many days, even weeks, before you can find it on the shelves again. Really poor. Empty spaces on shelves are commonplace. Why? I'm not seeing this in other supermarkets. Lockdown shortages ended years ago, why does it seem they're still in force in this store? Whoever is in charge of purchasing/restocking needs to seriously up their game. Also, items are often wrongly priced on the shelves, or not even priced up at all. On many occasions I've taken items to the checkout only to get a nasty surprise as they're much more expensive than indicated when I put them in the basket. Overall: poor. Edit 25/7/24: Things haven't improved. If anything even worse. See two very recent photos attached for examples of "Asda Shaw strikes again!", as we say. When is this store going to get its act together?

   I give one star ⭐ not because I hate Asda but because over the last year standards have slipped quite a bit unstocked shelves staffing levels have dropped departments not dressed properly l will continue to shop at Asda because of the lovely staff which to me seems undervalued standard's are important hope things improve

   Seen a decrease in items recently more so size 3 asda nappies None but you had other sizes also noticed only option is to bulk buy nappies as no long do small packs and no point in the sale or still fresh reduced section always empty now and milk price is getting ridiculous not Asda fault but the government

   This store has sadly recently become a poor excuse for an Asda, dragging the long time good name down into the gutter. Sunday afternoon 4pm and absolutely not a drop of fresh milk in the place. No problem, I’ll go and get some Long Life from the back. Nope, no semi skimmed (the only long life I like) anywhere to be seen. Lady offered to have a look in the warehouse, but nothing in there either! Walking back out of the store, I walked past empty shelf after empty shelf. So I went to my local One Shop. Loads of milk and to my delight, the Long Life semi skimmed was 15p a carton cheaper than Asda. Plus someone served me with a smile and I didn’t have to do it myself!!! #ThatsAsdaPrice *UPDATE!* Wed 15th Feb and once again there is not one drop of fresh milk! That store is fundamentally broken. Send in an Area Manager to get it sorted. BTW, Aldi are 25p cheaper on Long Life milk too… #AsdaShaw #Broken

   Purchased fresh fruit pieces yesterday. Didn't notice the date and ate one when i got home. Within a short space of time I developed stomach issues. The pineapple was out of date by 3 days This is the second time. The last time was a coconut smoothie which saw me hospitalised for 3 days due to food poisoning. Asda shaw needs inspecting and staff retaining. I have complained via email because I was too ill to go back to the store but no one has contacted me.

   Medium sized Asda....cash machines outside...cafe & toilets upstairs at back...tabacconist...etc...time limited parking but if your going to be hours there's free parking all day across the street....then pop to the high street.
