   Your chicken at Tesco especially in Droylsden is terrible. The quality of your whole chickens are bad. The last 3 full chickens I have bought from here are full of purple veins and not pure white on the breasts. Only reason why I’ve moved to buying full chickens is because your chicken breast are just full of water, and literally shrink to a bite size. For the prices you charge I might aswell go to Asda because I know the quality of there meats are a lot better than yours. Not one for posting a review but with the poor quality of your meats it deserves one.

   So frustrating that food purchased here is out of date and smelly well before its expiry date. And they’ve discontinued many popular products like sushi rice or fresh tuna and they’ve also changed their salmon which is not as good quality as before. [Update several months later] A member of staff said I should have a certain item, I said I didn’t want it, so they said “don’t be silly” and they put it on the conveyor belt, it was a £40 item that I did not want nor needed, I refused to pay for it and the cashier got annoyed at me. Then a week later, I bought a crate of 12 beers with my weekly shop, and the lady at the checkout said that’s too much alcohol for one person, I said “it’s just one pack”, she continued to argue with me saying you shouldn’t drink that much, I replied saying it’s 12 beers for me and my parents to last one weeks, she then took the beers away and said to the other customers “do you think that’s too much for one person”. I agreed to remove the drinks but then they argued about other food items, so I left my shopping on the conveyor belt and went to Sainsbury’s where I had no problem with OTT sales focused and judgemental staff. A further update, I bought items from this Tesco in August 2025 only to find that the food had been tempered with and contaminated.

   Most staff are friendly and for a smaller store has a lot to offer. Has a little stationary section, plus lovely flowers at really affordable prices. Also has a pharmacy, but can be quite a wait as the staff are overwhelmed with so many prescriptions but always do their best to help out. And has a clothing section too.

   Can get most things here .....not very long dates on some foods . Always check dates.I bought a fresh chicken last week (Saturday) but when I came to use it on the Monday it was actually out of date the day I'd bought it so had to throw it away .....staff lovely always helpful .convenient..

   Friendly and efficient staff at this smaller Tesco which has no cafe but does have a toilet, cash dispenser, and filling station. As befitting it’s size it sells all the basic household goods and food, but only a small range of electrical goods and clothing. A great local store.

   I usually go shopping here late at night but they seem to intentionally under staff the store at night now so there's no one on the main checkouts. I don't mind the self scan checkouts usually but with a full trolley they're really annoying.

   I was at the tesco superstore in Droylsden,Manchester. Nice store and neat as at the time of writing this review. The items are also well arranged. Toilet was not as impressive as I thought. However , the car park is very spacious which is one of the main positives to the store. The fuel station needs attendants though or the staffs needs to be more efficient or giving training on customer services rather than gossips while customers are on the queue. I will be visiting again to update my review.
