   April 2025: Went on a Sunday for their 9.30am browsing opportunity before tills open at 10am, I'd heartily recommend this as they load all their tills with staff so a breeze to get through and most shelves were stocked full. Wisely went for self-service this time. As Aldi's go, this is okay. Popped in on a Friday lunch and all items were in stock, but there was less variety of certain goods than other Aldis. The car park structure is not great, so have your wits about you when crossing with kids or elderly, made worse by having the McDs drive through. I know the tills are staffed by some of the fastest check out people in the land, I expect that. Still, the cashier was a little too insensitive, seeing as I only had a basket and bags to pack into - easy enough to deal with, let the stuff pile up and make them wait if a supermarket provides big baskets they must expect that packing bags won't be as quick as trolleys.

   I've observed the staff on a number of occasions I've been in and generally very friendly and welcoming unless you're a person of colour. Now I'm not accusing anyone of racism here but if you don't happen to be caucasian you don't get the friendly customer service others do get. I've experienced this first hand and it's a shame because I'm sure not all the staff are like this but it makes me feel uncomfortable shopping here if I don't feel welcomed.

   Loved perusing the mystery centre aisle. Never know what you'll get. Always fun. And always at a great price. Definitely a great grocery shop.

   Much nicer since the store was rebuilt. Good prices and plenty of stock. Checkout quick and efficient. Car park is good but getting back on the road is hard. McDonald's right next door is a good bonus.
