   In walkden Aldi nearly an hour ago, a member of staff (lightish haired dude, slightly chubby, slightly camp, was stocking the aisle over from the bread) came up to me & my 2yo son on the self serve and told me that I ‘should learn to tell my son to shut up’ then walked off. kids get upset mate, that comment was completely uncalled for

   Depends on the time of day. The bargain aisles are a mess. Always being stocked but it's too busy for me. A quick nip in is fine but anything else and I'm off to the quieter shops.

   The only Aldi I frequent that never has any baskets available. I usually go at non peak times and it seems they have about 10 for the whole store so you have to exit to get a trolley (overkill sometimes).

   Parking sufficient, narrow aisles with too much space taken away by display baskets, staff are friendly and helpful and always busy stacking shelves or on cash outs.
