   Today I witnessed a clear abuse of managerial authority by Mr Carol, the store manager at this branch. While picking up a six-pack of drinks from an upper shelf, a minor accident occurred: one bottle slipped when the cardboard packaging gave way, causing a small amount of liquid to spill. I immediately took responsibility, offered to help clean it up, and placed the remaining five bottles in my basket with the clear intention of paying for the full pack. Instead of responding professionally, Mr Carol reacted with a mocking and reprimanding tone and wrongly attempted to blame the incident on the fact that my phone screen was on, using a shaming and condescending manner. When I calmly pointed out that his tone and treatment were inappropriate, he escalated the situation, repeatedly questioning why I was speaking to him, and then called security to remove me from the store in front of other customers, solely because I raised a polite objection to his abusive behaviour. This was entirely unjustified, abusive, and deeply unprofessional. I am a loyal, regular customer, and being treated this way over a minor accident and then removed as if I had done something criminal was an extremely distressing and humiliating experience. The impact was made worse by the fact that this happened on Christmas Eve, when Lidl stores were closing at 6 pm. I had limited time to complete my shopping and no realistic opportunity to go elsewhere. Being removed under these circumstances wasted my time and left me genuinely upset and disappointed. Accidents happen in any store. What matters is how staff, especially management, handle them. Sadly, this experience showed a complete lack of professionalism, proportionality, and basic respect. I have already reported this incident to Lidl Customer Services, and I hope it will be addressed appropriately.

   Absolutely disgusted with this store. Not the first time I've bought food and it is more then 4 days out of date. Lasagna bought on the 6th November got home went out of date on the 2nd. Not something customers should have to do is constantly check the date!! Farnworth store this is!

   1stt time shopping in a Lidl for about 12yrs. 1st time I went in all those years ago was something like a market with atuff on pallets. Weren't impressed. I'm now a convert. Had a ready made salad with their own brand chicken goujons and other bits. Gives Aldi a proper run for its money.

   We just been shopping today at evening just before 8pm. At the checkout, we were served by a middle-aged Asian woman, she had discusting attitude, She didn't even say good evening, thank you, goodbye, nothing The way she looked at us was horrible. It would be good if menager have a few words with her about her customer service and manners

   This is a neat, tidy store that is well stocked. They have a variety of in store offers each week and regular themed weeks such as Greek week or Spanish week. There is a shopping app but it is unnecessarily complicated.

   Lidl is Lidl is Lidl. Only two branches of the stores, that I've been in, Farnworth and Baguley, both stores have virtually the same layout. Both offer the same great value products, as All other stores, I dare say. So, give them a try, wherever you are. You'll be pleased You did.
