I was in here today and the service was impeccable. Lovely staff and all round nice people. My server jade was wonderful. Very insightful and helpful. Props to her and I think that her approach with customers is great.
Today I ordered a Maple Hazel Latte and I was really disappointed with the service. My order was given to me without a tray or napkin, and the latte didn’t have enough topping. I have always had great experiences at Costa, but today’s experience did not meet my expectations. I hope in the future customers are treated with more respect and orders are delivered properly.
The drinks were satisfactory, the cakes were reasonable. I however asked for extra hot drinks but they were at best warm. The seating areas were dark and grubby and the area needs a revamp and/ or spruce up. However I have to say that the male toilets were absolutely spotless and gleaming, the young man from behind the counter who did them was extremely pleasant. If the rest of the cafe followed this standard it would be 5 all ways round.
Best service I've ever had at a coffee shop. Wish I'd gotten the name of the gentleman who served us. Anyway, great drinks and a good atmosphere. Plenty of seats and plenty warm too. Drinks were made in a timely manner and tasted great. Nothing to complain about. Good experience all round.
Rude staff bad customer service, woman worker don't listen have to repeat your self. I will defo not go back there cheeky young black man, then decides to ask me to leave. After I told them about them selves. He is very disrespectfully treating, customers like that. He's quick at throwing people out, he won't last long there. Needs sacking.
It's costa coffee, the food and drink is what it is. The staff here though were very polite and friendly. The only downside was the fan was on, on a very cold and wet day
With its drawn back position in Leeds CC, there is no other Coffee Shop to go to than Costa for that perfect brew of Latte or Cappuccino. Yes, there are other Costa's, though change is good, especially if you can't get into any of the others. With warm, friendly and helpful staff - as in all the other's - it is always a good pit stop before visiting the Vue Cinema or shopping at the top end of the city centre. Lands Lane Costa Coffee Shop is always busy, though by chance or by luck, every visit has had at least 2 or 3 tables free. Highly recommended.
Popped in for a takeaway coffee on my lunch, they were quick and friendly. Nothing really to complain about! Costa Coffee’s large are much bigger than other chains in the area.
Went in here with my lad yesterday (31/12/21), there were 3 people in front of us in the queue. yet it took 15 minutes to be served, people joining the queue after us were leaving when they could see how slow service was, just one girl behind the counter doing near enough everything on her own, the lad that was there with her looked like it was his 1st day on the job, all he did was take the order & payment, it seemed that actually getting an order together was not his job, the girl never stopped, I felt sorry for her, there were 2 girls in the back room marked 'Private' on the door, I'm guessing that they were there to clean the tables & wash up, the 2 girls walked into the place just as we sat down, looked like they'd been on a dinner break, but only one of them popped back out of that room twice, once to clear a table & once to plonk a tray of clean plates & glasses down near the counter, at which point the only girl that was doing anything quickly grabbed the tray & put the stuff in their designated areas behind the counter, no doubt she would have been on the same rate of pay as the rest of them, yet everyone else there seemed to be on an easy ride. I'll be watching out for more staff behind the counter before I go in here again.
