I ordered a full English, it cost over £8, it was the worst breakfast I have ever been served. Mushrooms so hard, I could not chew them, I just ate the toast, drank the coffee and left the breakfast. Shown is what I was served and the other photo is what I get for a pound more from Abs diner in Carnaby. Will never visit again....disgusting

We used to love going as a family to Merrie England. It was always a bit pricey but the food was plentiful and nice. NOT ANY MORE! The service is poor, with the workers being off-hand and rude. The prices are astronomical and the food is less for your money and not good. Their "homemade" apple pie used to be packed with fruit. Now, it is packed with chemical ridden gelatine. Horrible. And certainly not worth the £4.10 price ticket - plus £1.50 for Elmlea poured over it. Sooo disappointed!!!

Came across this little Tudor-esk hideaway cafe, nice and quiet. Called in for coffee and an Eccles cake. Delicious and staff very nice.

Food is nice but staff are always really rude. Makes no sense because they are always over staffed for the amount of work.

I was at the Packhorse Centre, Merrie England coffee shop. Excellent service, great coffee and the bacon and tomato sandwich was delicious. Always a good visit and love the cool new doors. Keep up the good work; merrie.
