   I never ever complain but I’ve had some of the most awful experiences at this M&S at Tadcaster road. I work late shifts and finish past midnight, after I finish work I expect to be able to go into this M&S due to it apparently being open 24 hours. However it is rarely open past midnight, even some night I go at 11pm and it’s closed? One night when I tried to go in I was told they were closing and couldn’t go in by an older lady with multicoloured hair and a tall man. This is a trend with these two staff members as everytime they are working M&S is closed early. I didn’t want to assume anything so went in one day and asked a man who said they were the manager why it closed to early some nights and he looked confused and said it shouldn’t be. This is a problem in itself but then on the days that I can go in before work and I am served by the previously mentioned staff members, the service I receive is atrocious. My partner and I had to continually shout excuse me as there was no one at the till for close to 5 minutes, both of these staff members came through the door behind the counter and offered no form of apology and just huffed and told us to pay. So not only do they not stay open the hours stated not only online but also in the store but when you can actually get served by them they treat you like you’re nothing more than dirt. Appalling honestly and I would love to be able to progress this further but frankly I don’t want to go into the store again with how I get treated when I go in there, I have really bad social anxiety and just going into the shop is quite a difficult task for me and I try to avoid it when I see these two staff members are working because they’re horrible to both my partner and myself even when we go in separately. All the other staff there are lovely though.

   Decent small petrol station with a good M&S outlet that sells a good range of food. Also has takeaway coffee and hot food. There is also space to lock up your bike if you are traveling on the nearby cycle path.

   Typical small petrol station. Staff are friendly, but prices are a little higher than neighboring petrol stations. Main benefit here is that you get premium petrol and diesel fuels.
