   I dealt with Cakeaway over the phone, and the experience was genuinely unbelievable. The woman I spoke to struggled with even the simplest parts of the conversation basic information had to be repeated multiple times, and she still couldn’t grasp what was being asked. For someone working in customer service, her level of confusion was… concerning. Let’s just say she did not give the impression of someone operating at full capacity. Then there was the man, whose communication skills were somehow even worse. Every answer was vague, muddled, or completely off-topic, as if he had no idea what was going on. It felt like speaking to people entirely out of their depth. As for the food can’t comment on that since it never arrived. Overall, the interaction left me seriously questioning how this place is even functioning. If this is the caliber of staff handling customers, I won’t be returning and I’d strongly suggest others avoid the headache.

   NEVER EVER ORDER FROM HERE!! Food took about 4 hours after being told and told again that the driver was on the way. Bear in mind it’s a ten minute drive. Customer service is shocking, person on the phone seemed like they couldn’t be arsed and whenever I tried speaking to them she just said “bye, bye”. After waiting for hours I then proceed to tell them to cancel the order as I had to go to bed. One hour later, I got a phone call saying your food is now on the front doorstep. Bear in mind it was raining and any sort of insects could have got inside. I then took my order inside and it was freezing cold due to it being outside. And also to add it was tiny for the ridiculous price. Shocking service, and I urge everyone to not order from here, as this business should be closed down. But my main issue is how rude the ‘manager’ was on the phone. Blows my mind how this is still open. Wish I could put 0 stars

   Ordered at 10:30pm still no food 2 hours later. Requested an update through just eat to be told it would be here 11:25pm but nothing so tried again and changed to 12:05am and still nothing. Tried to contact and there was no answer. Finally got through and was told our order was on its way 15 minutes ago when the shop is not that far away. Hope the food is nice as it was first recommended on just eat, after reading the reviews I don't have much hope. Very expensive too.

   Food was 45 minutes late , food was absolutely freezing cold as If it had been sat for ages before getting to us , milkshake is nothing like what they advertised. This was supposed to be the Milky Way crispy role milkshake and was shown to have the crispy roll wafers within it . The shake was quite expensive too

   I ordered 3 items and it’s took over 3 hours to be delivered. I’m no more than 30 min away from Store and it took 6 times that for it to be delivered. Do not order from here when the food arrived it was stone cold, my milk shake was no more than just warm milk I had to throw it cause it tasted sour. It’s got horrid customer service when I phoned I got hung up on everytime and spoken sharply too.

   Placed an order for red velvet rose cake to be delivered between 4 to 5 pm to surprise my husband for valentines day from cakeaway through their insta page... received the cake by 6.45 after calling them again and again... almost Missed our dinner reservation because of the delay....To add more disaster they delivered chocolate cake instead of red velvet,my husband hates chocolate cake.... not even a apology message after letting them know that they delivered the wrong cake.... spoiled the Surprise spoiled the day....never going back again...

   Don't ever order from here!! Appalling service, it if would let me submit a review with zero stars, that's what I would have given!! Ordered just after 9pm through just-eat. Delivery time 9.25-9.45. App said food delivered about 10.10 but it hadn't arrived. Rang up multiple times to be told he's on his way, staff really unhelpful and rude. 4 phone calls later and at 11pm still no food!! Gave up as thought it wasn't coming. Eventually came about 11.10 and guess what...it had been on the road for that long, the food was absolutely stone cold and inedible. Nearly £30 it cost so wasn't exactly cheap. Avoid this place completely. Looking at other reviews I'm not alone in getting shocking service and food. Just-eat should remove them from their platform.

   Food arrived after over three hours. Vegan hotdog was cold and uncooked in buttered bread, no sauce or anything. We actually fell asleep before.this arrived and the driver woke us up in the early hours of the morning with the delivery. Would recommend avoiding ordering delivery from this place
