Iceland staff are usually pleasant & polite however not at this store. Serve without a simple please or thank you. Accompanied by security stood at the front of the till in an intimidating manner.
Agree with uk cuts below regarding the security guard he should be sacked jobsworth. They decide to lock the rear doors at 4pm although the store doesn’t shut until 6pm. They don’t care if you came in that way or have young children with difficulties like I did, but they will bend there rule of locking the door to let staff out of the shop for cigarettes or to go home. Well I have reported the door being locked to wednesbury fire warden who will I hope be in touch with the store soon to let them know there in breach of fire safety regulations. And I’ll be finding somewhere better to shop that treats customers with respect.
A few months ago, I visited the Iceland store in Wednesbury and unfortunately had a very unpleasant experience with one of the security staff. The man, who was bald, was extremely rude and disrespectful for no clear reason. It made me feel very uncomfortable and unwelcome during my visit. I’ve always liked shopping at Iceland, but this interaction left a bad impression. I hope the management takes feedback like this seriously and ensures that all staff, including security, treat customers with basic courtesy and respect.
I was in the store 2 days ago , i have seen an argument between security guy and customer. All i have seen the security man was very disrespectful and rude. Keep telling the customer to leave and kicked him out at the end without seen any bad behaviour from customer..
Good offers and relatively quick to get through overall. The main issue is till service is inconsistent and compared to herons or Poundland only trolleys are on wheels, not the baskets
Went to iceland nice sunday morning about half past ten got around easily friendly staff, al though I wasnt expecting to spend as much as I did
Ordered via Uber eats due to discount, I ordered a 1.7kg tray of raw chicken, which when arrived was dated to expire in a day and some, which is disgusting. Apart from serious bacterial concerns during the Covid 19 pandemic, this is a major health and safety issue
Excellent they had everything in stock, two other iceland stores did not, (Willenhall & walsall), very frustrating.
Good but checkout is slow , I don't go in this one much but theres only ever 1 person on tills which is a pain when you suffer with a back problem and can't stand around for too long , also no trolleys where available except a broken one and there was only a hand full of people in there. Where are all your trolleys!
