   I'd love to know how today my elderly father fell over outside your store and nobody came out to help .It was BQ staff who helped and called the ambulance service,, while you're staff left him on the pavement,,,,

   Been using this store for arround 3 yeas and always had good service. Other than the odd time they have been having personal conversations on the headset and got ignored. Since the self check outs were installed it’s felt like I have had to beg to go on a till but tonight has topped it off. Asked a member of staff to go on a till like always to be sighed at and basically told she was too busy I could understand if it was a basket but I had a full large trolley with a weekly shop. Absolutely shocking….. update For the second time in a row we had an issue going on a till again. I asked for a till as I had a full big trolly and the self checkout scales are too small to lay out all the bags and pack into them. Again got attitude from a staff member and was told we would have to wait. The checkout operator was amazing polite this time and we were rung up in less than a few minutes. Getting really fed up with the attitude we are receiving for something so basic as using a normal till…….. update. Well 3rd time lucky, all the staff tonight were amazing, from the gent stacking the fruit and veg having a little banter, to the lady on self checkout not giving us an attitude for wanting a till but especially the lady who checked us out. polite helpful and chatty, hopefully it continues.

   One of the nicer Aldi's in the area as the aisles are wider and feels less crowded. You actually get chance to look at the items on the shelves and don't feel harassed.

   The worst store by far. I have consistently had bad experiences with this store, who cannot even get basic stock rotation right. The amount of products that are out of date is unreal, from moldy cheese, to the latest - porcini pasta which went out of date on the 28.12.22. Mention it to customer services 'well, didn't you check it before leaving the store' and 'oh bring it it with you or the receipt, and we'll take a look' - yes mate of course, don't you bother rectifying anything! Perhaps we should have taken an hour and a half to do a basic shop, so that we can check everything, or maybe stop passing this responsibility onto others. When it's busy and you are in a rush, there is an element of trust, which you cannot seem to get right. Restaurants get graded for their hygiene practices, clearly there are no standards in Aldi. Absolutely avoid!

   It’s cheaper than Morrisons by far. I would like it if they had on the end of each produce section the discounted food. Which I always try and buy. I like both Aldi and Lidl. I have lived abroad and I mainly shopped in these places. The middle isle is brill just to look at where do they find all this stuff .

   First time shopping at Lidl - and what a refreshing experience! Nice wide aisles with the food displays really helpful. Cleanliness is an obvious creed with Lidl. The bread and cakes section offer a marvellous choice Wine prices are very competitive and the staff really helpful. Aisle be back Lidl!
