Came in on a recommendation and wasn’t disappointed at all. Loads of parking, friendly welcome and food was great. I went for the £10 buffet breakfast and thought it was excellent. With it being buffet style I stacked my plate up and genuinely could have gone back for more. Traditional road side cafe, busy with bikers, lorry drivers, workers, walkers, cyclists so don’t come in expecting the Ritz but what you do get is great service, great food at a great price. What more do you want???

Lime’s Café is a brilliant little place just off the main road with a massive car park-perfect for anyone passing through, especially HGV drivers. I had a brilliant breakfast here; everything was cooked perfectly and served hot. The girl behind the bar was super polite and welcoming, and she didn’t mind me staying in the car park for my 24-hour break in the HGV. Fantastic service, great food, and plenty of space-can’t ask for more as a hgv driver .

First visit for me and the Eggs Benedict were so tasty. Very friendly staff and the cafe has a good old truckstop feel to it. Clean, plenty of tables available and a wide range of food choices.

Pictures speak 1000 words. I ended up making a chip cob as the chicken was none existent and dry

This place is a lovely little old fashioned type of roadside café/truck stop, that you really just don't see enough of anymore. Which is a shame! It's located just off the main road, there is a very large car park where the cafe is located. I can only comment on the breakfast as that is what I ordered. It's cheap and cheerful, standard breakfast items, nothing special but it's not trying to be! The food is flavourful and there is plenty of it, all you can eat with a cup of tea cost me just over £11. That is excellent value for money. Get up and help yourself to whatever you want as much as you want. Toast available in white or brown, eat in or takeaway, soft drinks cabinet offering various brands, it's great little place and I'm very glad it exists. Make sure to stop by and give it a try :)

Lovely roadside café. We both had a standard breakfast @ £7.00 each. Wasn't at all greasy, the fried eggs were cooked lovely not hard at all. Fried bread was perfect, not dripping in fat. Will definitely be back.
