Well managed shop especially during busy times as it is currently New Year’s Eve. Special mention to Nick one of the floor staff who went out of his way to secure us something we believed to be out of stock. Recommended to all who want an easy and helpful experience.

Bought a packet of peppermint bark cookies, got them home and found that they were best before that day. Paid full price. Fair enough I should have looked, but I wouldn't expect M&S to sell something already past it's best. Reached out to customer services and they couldn't care less, so here's a 1 star review in return. All for the sake of £3.50

Currently sat in your cafe and oh boy, what a farse. We ordered 45 minutes ago and are still awaiting two sandwiches - pretty simple order really. The cafe has no seating left, not because it’s especially busy, but because no one is being served what they have ordered. The waitresses are stood bored. The few people who have been served have been served the wrong food. The kitchen staff aren’t wearing hair nets. It’s a shambles. So far 9 people have complained, I will be doing so myself shortly. I won’t come again. Save yourself the time and get yourself off to White Rose.

Waiting at checkout waiting to be served, had to wait ages due to woman in front being served. Both cashier & customer seemed to be messing about with m & s app. Never apologised. Ive never in all my life had to wait so long to be served. I was livid. Not very good customer service. Very disappointed with the lady cashier.

Marks Spencer freestanding building. A small shop but it has a lot of interesting things to offer. Nice grocery shop on the ground floor with frozen food, bakery, alcohol and dairy. On the first floor there is a well-known cafe where you can also have a tasty meal, but by the time of our visit to the shop the cafe was already closed. Next to the cafe you can see a range of household goods, bed linen, plates, mugs, vases and much more. A good place to shop and maybe you will find what you need, although the selection is not very large. Overall I love Mark Spencer and often buy things from this chain. I recommend this place to everyone.

M&S is an excellent shopping destination for those looking for a high-end grocery experience. The store offers a wide range of premium quality products, from fresh produce to gourmet food items. The cafe upstairs is a delightful surprise, serving delicious hot and cold drinks and food, all in a cozy and inviting atmosphere. Whether you're looking to grab a quick bite or spend some time relaxing with friends, the cafe is the perfect spot. Overall, M&S is a great option for anyone looking for an upscale shopping experience with a convenient café on hand.

Called here to do some food shopping. Thought we have some lunch. As we were queuing they said run out of eggs. We came to order "run out of jacket potatoes". My wife who wanted the the jacket ends up having nothing as I couldn't speak to her as she tried to reserve a table. The experience is not what i would expect at M&S and just proves it going down in Quality. Chaos and Mayhem is the words I would describe this experience. We went downstairs to shopping in the food department. There was Eggs. There was potatoes. !!!.Bring them upstairs and cook them. Might have been best at a greasy spoon cafe.
