This store is being updated either new fridges, shelving etc. The stock has also been moved around in the new re-fit. So a bit confusing at the mo, but I'm sure it will be better once it's complete. Goods in the store are plentiful. Staff and helpful, especially guiding us to where products have moved to. It's Christmas so busy busy busy
Awful. Typical large Tesco store, poorly laid out and overpriced. I've visited several times and constantly had a poor experience. Using the self service tills is pointless as I am stuck waiting for a security check on every single shop. What is the point of self service tills if you have to have a cashier going through the customer's entire trolley every time they shop with you. Avoid this place like the plague.
Dear Tesco Management, I am writing to express my deep frustration and disappointment regarding the shocking level of negligence and indifference shown by the night shift team and the store management at your Tesco Extra location. After driving over 200 km to make a scheduled delivery, I have been left waiting outside the delivery gate for more than 40 minutes. No one answers the phone number displayed on the gate, and the buzzer next to the door is completely ignored. There is no visible working schedule, no contact information for out-of-hours assistance, and clearly no sense of responsibility from the staff on duty. This kind of unprofessional behaviour reflects a total lack of organization and respect for partners who ensure your supply chain runs smoothly. It is unacceptable that drivers, after long hours on the road, are left stranded at your facility because of a careless and disengaged night shift and absent management. I strongly urge you to review the performance of this team and take immediate corrective action to prevent this kind of disrespectful situation from happening again.
Pharmacy Review: Counter staff are helpful and friendly. The lady pharmacist here is nothing but arrogant, bad mannered and rude. If you're happy to be patronised and lectured whilst picking up a prescription then go here. If not, there are plenty of other pharmacies locally so support local business instead. I won't be collecting any future prescriptions from here.
Going through a sketchy patch at the moment. A refurb is going on, but not being carried out well compared to other stores (we've experienced a few) aisle end signs show incorrect ranges, layout is amazingly arbitrary, the "such and such an item is now on aisle X" signs are often incorrect or so general as to be useless - "Non food" doesn't narrow it down. They have one guy with a "I can help you" sign, compared to 3 or 4 at Mansfield when they did their refurb, plus no interim store layout map for customers to check. At the same time, stock seems to be getting very hit and miss with multiple ranges out of stock on last visits. Perhaps one to avoid until New layout is settled in.
Just bought one of these from Tesco, no idea how they got an award, must've bribed the judges or something, the one I got was definitely not an Award winner, the majority went straight in the bin, do not buy these awful pies. Bought this potato salad at this shop, it’s now in the bin, it’s nasty, Eastman’s is the brand name, avoid it it’s nasty.
This store seems to be going down hill, no salad on the shelves ,last week no fresh meat,week before freezers empty . Then upstairs for some reason the changing rooms are now closed until October, people don't want to buy clothes only to have to take them back because they either don't like them or they don't fit. It used to be a lovely store a few years back but not anymore for me .
This store has really gone down hill. Just driven past three other options to go to my preferred Tesco for 5 basic items. They didn't have 4 of them! Recurring issue. Shelves are empty. Time to shop elsewhere me thinks.
Large store on 2 floors. Good range of products generally but Gluten Free stuff has more options than other supermarkets. The lack of music being played was very welcome. Large free car park that has been given some thought.
Never had any issues other than when trying to buy more than 2 packets of paracetamol....Customer toilet is fine, the fruit n veg section is usually ok, easy access to the lake if you use their carpark...no complaints from me.
