   The staff at this store are a real mix bag of hard workers and work dodgers. Shelf stacking guy who’s been there ages is always busy working hard, polite and helpful. However some on the people who work at the self service checkouts should just stay at home. They clearly don’t want to be there or help customers. Either train your staff in customer service or replace them. It’s not hard to crack a smile!

   I had planned to do some shopping here Sunday, and get my electricity key and gas card charged at the same time, now I already knew that they only except cash for charging prepayment meters, so went to the ATM outside to withdraw some cash only to find it wasn't working, the ATM at the Post Office was the same. So went to Tesco's to withdrew the cash, went to the nearby garage to charge everything up and returned to Tesco's to do my shopping there - your loss Asda if you will insist on cash transactions only.

   Went into Asda at 9:50, urgently needed some cat food and the machine wouldn't accept a £50 note. My partner politely asked the "here to help" assistant why. We were very rudely told by the manager that it is 9:58 and they can not accept our £50. Very rude and extremely unprofessional.

   Older women staff would rather have a chin wag than help people on the self checkouts. If I could approve the stuff I’m buying, I would do so rather than having to wait more than 5 mins for someone to stop their conversation. Management need to retrain some employees in this store.

   Nice friendly and helpful staff. Good signage and layout of shelves with wide aisles. Not as busy as nearby Tesco's therefore I had a quick and stress free shopping trip.

   This is my local Asda and it’s customer service has always been great!!! Went in this morning with my two grandchildren who are full of cold, wanted some supplies, my grandson had a coughing episode at the tills and he just couldn’t stop, a lovely gentleman who works there (sorry didn’t get his name) came over and asked if he could get him a drink which he did, another lady came to help me pack my shopping whilst I saw to my grandson. Thank you so much for your help, they are now back home having waffles and chocolate spread, amazing customer care and service, I really appreciated that help Thanks

   Handy if you want a quick cheap sandwich, easy parking, handy to recycle as well, but can be prepared to wait if you buy red bull, etc at self scan requires authorisation by staff member, watch out for items that don't scan and more patience when buying red bull, adult items requiring authorisation not like BP licensee who don't have I place to stop children purchasing energy drinks
