Went to fill up jerrycan waited for them to reset from previous customer having pressed pay at cashier, waited and waited again all the time a car was waiting to get to pump so gave up in the end and went to Peveril Road.
Now that the station has E5 it's my regular fuel stop as well as the fact the store also stocks some excellent IPA's. The staff are always polite and helpful, with respect I'm baffled that people actually have a negative experience.
always very handy.Staff are always friendly and helpful but the place attracts some unsavoury types and I feel sometimes it's dangerous for the staff..they also put up with a lot of abuse I feel their management should make sure they are more protected
Very unhelpful n rude staff, even with their facial expressions. Self service n then frowned apon to ask for assistance. How dare a customer interrupt their social conversation. Staff member with a terrible neck tattoo could probably do with a refresher of training in retail! And the counter staff should not be giving dagger eyes to customers as they walk from the shop
Disgraceful staff. . . Today I went and put fuel in my car. And I heard some one shout pump 6 on the tanoy. To look up and see the cashier shouting for me to close my car door. I politely put my hand up to acknowledge that I hear her but I was behind the pump line. She then shouted NOW!! through the tanoy. So I stopped pumping and went in store and asked the purple/red haired old lady who she was talking to like that she then started shouting infront of customers that she told me to shut my car door. I then said I heard you but I couldn't reach as I was the other side of the pump. She then started stropping herself about after i pointed her behaviour was uncalled for. There is no exscuse for this poor attitude. It's very clear from the other reviews this lady is doing this often.
Always friendly & helpful staff, but not very well stocked ove the last month.
I use this store often. It is in an ideal location and provides a great range of quality meal deal items for the great price of £3, much better than the local Co-op's £3.50. The staff are also very friendly and have supported local charities such as the fund for Gracie Spinks. Definitely the go to shop locally.
I recently filled my car at this station. When I approached the till. The cashier asked where my mask was. I had genuinely forgot my mask, but the lady on the till huffed and then handed me a mask. I left feeling disappointed that I had left my mask in the car. The following week I filled up again. When queuing to pay, the 20 something person stood behind me was without a mask. There were several members of staff around and not one person said anything. This left me very annoyed. I can only think that unconscious bias was at play here.
It was the first time I had to put petrol in my car on my own. The staff saw that I was struggling and came to help me. Very helpful staff, will be going there often. Thank you ever so much!
No space between the fuel pumps, people filling up with fuel then doing their shopping, worse still, I've seen some selfish people park on a fuel pump, not buy any fuel and just do their shopping! On the plus side, most of the staff are very friendly but beware of the one who never asks you if you have a club card to put your points on even when you spend £80 on fuel, you know who you are!
