I scanned a box of cat food at self check out but then realised the box was battered. I politely asked an assistant if she would swop it for me but she refused to do so. I hadn't even paid for it at that point. I carried on scanning the rest of my shopping then another assistant walked past so I asked her if she minded swapping it and she also refused. She offered to sellotape it up but I said I'd prefer a new box. Eventually she marched off with it, came back and chucked it in my trolley. I said thank you but she just walked off without a word. I was polite the whole time. If I'd been at a check out I think they would have got someone to swap it. I could have done it myself but would have had to leave all my shopping and I'm 75 with a sprained wrist so was struggling anyway. What has happened to customer services these days. I was really upset about this treatment and will not be shopping at asda anymore

After noticing the price of a litre of this item, just over £16, I asked a lady if that was correct as I'd seen it priced at £30 2 yards away. The price was correct and as the formation can be seen advantage was taken, obviously doesn't help cut my consumption down but thank you very much for the offer.

As others have said... I've shopped here for years due to convenience, giving them the benefit of the doubt that shelves are always empty, particularly fresh fruit/berries, the chaotic nature of shelf stackers and the large amount of stock cages in aisles, but not anymore. The place is showing no sign of improvement, to a point this evening that the large amount of stockpiles in aisles is becoming an Health and Safety issue. This place needs to be inspected, and action taken or just shut it down altogether.

My first experiences with this ASDA were really good. Everything was in order, however as of lately I have watched the downfall of this dear ASDA. For one, My first negative experience would be when a worker smoked a blunt of weed whilst pushing the shopping trolleys back to their station. My second negative experience would be I saw 8 kids screaming and yelling whilst running away from one of the security guards who had a droopy eye. The worst of all was my mother and I went into ASDA to aquire Prime Hydration for my autistic son who has seizures constantly, my mother managed to grasp her hands on said bottle of Prime, and several kids who I believe attended Ecclesfield school baraged her and knocked her to the floor, stealing her prime. When reported this to a worker their response was its kill or be killed in this world. My mum passed a week later after being hopsitalised. ASDA KILLED MY MUM.

Good range of products needs less self serve checkouts. No doors on cabinets they are so annoying and get in the way while you shop. This puts me off going.

The staff just let the forigner brigade wander in and shove everyone and everything out of the way. It's just like watching vulctures and nobody dare say anything due to them playing the race card. I wonder mind if they purchased other things , but they just come in for the reduced items. It's just not worth the hassle coming to this place.

Great supermarket. Love the new range of value foods. Excellent quality for the price. Look for the yellow and white packaging. Usually on the lower shelves but well worth searching for. The clothing is great quality. All in all very good supermarket for all you need. The cafe is great as well

I live locally and I haven't done my main food shop here after I received a 2nd parking fine for parking in the car park. Admittedly I was more than 2 hours as I also went to the pharmacy. This is the second time it has happened. I complained to the manager and he got a refund this time but it's just too much like hard work. Now I just use this shop for one off items I might have forgotten on my full weekly shop. I now shop at Aldi...no parking fines.

Most of the stuff you would expect to find for your weekly shop and at a good price, but stock levels are inconsistent and only part ranges of some items . Staff are mostly very polite and helpful but some very ignorant. But for the most part good
