    This was a very disappointing experience after shopping here regularly for over four years. I attended customer services regarding an M&S gift card that had not been activated despite having a valid receipt. The initial staff were helpful, however the deputy manager (badge name Soph, blonde) immediately asserted that she was the manager and proceeded to make several incorrect assumptions about my purchase, despite the receipt clearly showing the correct details. When calmly corrected with evidence, she became visibly embarrassed and frustrated, responded defensively, and then accused me of being rude simply for confirming that I wanted a replacement gift card. I remained polite throughout the interaction. While the issue was eventually resolved, the way it was handled was unnecessary and unprofessional. Senior staff should be able to manage situations calmly and respectfully, not make customers feel at fault when they have clear proof.

    Today, 30/11/25 at lunch time at the Lichfield store due to road works taxis were not picking up at the store at all only from Aldi nearer to the traffic lights, we were stuck, no way being disabled could we push a trolley there. We asked at the reception desk in despair, instantly one of the staff offered to push our trolley up to Aldi for us, the other member of staff telephoned city cars to check they were available and they were going to collect us. Both ladies went above and beyond and we are very gr grateful. Thank you

    I went shopping here on Saturday 22nd Nov around noon. I went to get my elderly parents shopping as they had been let down by the Tesco delivery and had no food in the house. On entering it was busy, but the isles are big enough to get around without too much stress. I found everything that they needed on their shopping list and had three lovely employees (think they were part of the Tesco delivery team) help me when I couldn’t find items. A young lady and two young gentleman who were really lovely. I felt I had a really good shopping experience today and you should be proud of your lovely team. Thank you for making my shopping experience a great one.

    I shopped at this store today and was pleased to find that every item on my list was in stock. However, I was very disappointed that there was only one manned check-out available. There were several customers with full trolleys waiting to be served at this check-out as they, like me, preferred this service. The assistant was very efficient. However, I was annoyed to see 4 members of staff standing around near the self-service facility, which had only one customer, The staff wages for 'hanging around' are paid from the profits made on my shopping. The customer getting the thin end of the wedge again.

    Broke down in the exit road from the car park. Whilst I realise moving me out of the way was less to do with my safety and much more about the back log in the car park.... After we had been pushed out of the way the free coffee and way of getting out of the parking fine in Aldi's car park was very welcome while we waited for rescue.

    I have always enjoyed shopping at Tescos but you have finally pushed me back to Morrisons, 4 on the tills, huge queues at the self serve system. Not a very pleasant reply from the member of staff when asked if any chance of more tillers!! Then having to listen to another member of staff saying she wasn’t going to return to work, so not just your customers are going!!

    I received a parking fine of Β£115 for parking here. The first letter I have seen is a final notice, with the offending date being 5 months ago. I live nearby, so the only reason for me to ever park there is to go shopping there. I clearly have no recourse other than to pay this fine because of the parasitic and aggressive nature of parking companies. Putting in these validation machines was Tesco’s choice, so please spare me β€œ we outsource our parking management”. I used to do my weekly shop here, I will never be returning.

    I think they’re taking the Mickey now, there’s barely any normal tills to go through, everything is self service!!! Went on a Saturday at 6pm when I though it would be quiet .. it wasn’t, ended up queuing in the basket aisle self service for 18 minutes .. if they expect you to pack your own groceries then I want paying for it! Grrrr

    Bought Welsh cakes today. When I got home they were 15 days past the best before date. Have tried to find a telephone number or email address to make a complaint but it is impossible to speak to someone. Finally found a WhatsApp number and was able to communicate with someone. They have sent a Β£5 digital voucher.
