I was served by a lovely young gentleman named Mansur who made my shopping experience beyond exceptional. Unfortunately, the scan and go has now changed to card only and I only had cash on my persons. Mansur made my life easier, not only allowing me to pay with Cash but also helping me with my packing. A wonderful and seamless shopping experience with a smile too! Thank you Mansur you are an exceptional asset to Tescos Yardley :)

Absolutely the worst shop I have ever shopped in. Friday night before Christmas one of the busiest nights of the year and there are boxes and cages in every isle and so difficult to get down with the amount of cages. I would understand if the shop was busy with shoppers but it was empty. The shop looked really bad with all the rubbish everywhere. Now I know why the shop was empty. Only spent a fraction of what I was going to spend.

A somewhat bizzare experience at Tesco, Swan Yardley. I called in to pick up a small number of shopping items, using the self checkout scannning device. Unknown to me, what I can only describe as machines which reminded me of the scanner at the airport have appeared. Weigh you basket, scan your basket, scan the scanning machine and then scan the self check out machine to pay..... hopefully you are then not selected for a random check of your shopping. Rather quicker to pass through Birmingham airport security on my last visit, particularly as this process has resulted in bottlenecks of customers in Tesco. If this is your response to increased shop lifting it is overkill and other methods exist to address that issue. What you have achieved is remove that convenience of self check out which was important on this particular day to me; obviously the loss of convenience for customers is something which you have little concern for, which points me in the direction of your competitors in the future.

This store has gone down hill over the last couple of years, The shelves and food dating is appaling and they just moved the entire upstairs down replacing four alisles on the ground floor, I dont require the Rabnge if I wanted that stiuff I would go to a select store so merging and taking up an area and then cramming everything from top floor into the ground floor is poor. Then they closed the deli years ago so you can not get fresh pizzas and other things made up. the bakery is hit and miss. Now the trolley park upon last few visits has not had any trolleys or chains in making you walk to main area out of order for disabled people

Gave one star because cannot give zero. Is this the worst managed store in the country?. Not enough large trolleys and no chains to secure in some shelters. Today queues were massive only 4 tills in operation on a Saturday, people leaving their shopping and going elsewhere, staff completely demoralised having to deal with unhappy customers because the management team could not run a bath let alone an extra store. I visit stores from Cornwall to top of Scotland and all are better managed than this one.

I went to Tesco at the Swan Yardley today with my mother who is 82 and my mom struggles to walk very far, she has to hold onto a shopping trolley. When we had done our shopping all clothing we made our way to a check out and a lovey assistant Monica offered to open up a till for us so my mom did not have to walk and queue at the other check outs. She was so nice and helpful - she is a credit to Tesco. :)
