This is my weekly shopping store. Friendly and helpful staff. Tidy and usually well stocked. Big store with a wide range of departments including photo, currency, clothes and Yo Sushi.
Still no fitting rooms open, which for a store with such a large clothing selection seems like the most basic level of service that should be provided. You also can't return clothes unless the customer service desk is open which it isn't for a large portion of their opening hours. They should have fitting rooms and a dedicated till upstairs for clothing in my opinion.
If you have purchase limits, you should post them instead of taking my items without informing me. Besides, I was with friends, not family. I only bought two pieces of beef for my five kids. That chubby girl with blue-tinted hair just snatched the food from my hand. Is this how the boss trains his staff?
Today i had really bad experience at tesco my daughter had fever and i want to buy a calpol medicine for her. One of the colleagues asked me to show the identification and I tried to find it in my phone. She was very rude to me and said that she doesn’t accept the phone identity. I told her that she is my daughter and she reply me that she had three kids. This isn’t my first time to buy medicine from tesco no one asked me to show my identity. If its rule to show identity to buy any kind of medicine so every single time they have to ask. Even i have noticed few costumers bought the alcohol they just saw them and approved. So why she is not giving me medicine. Really disappointing.
Shocking customer service. By the till minder. Firstly she basically accused me of pinching a 30p carrier bag. Then watched me scan an item of clothing and when it set alarm off on till exit. Demanded to check my receipt, even though she has just watched me scan the item. Didn't offer to remove the tag. But then demanded to look at receipt before she removed the item. Absolutely poor staff training. Either shes just rude or having one of the monthly weeks.
Greater and Massive Tesco, Just come at 7 am and was not the complete stock spected with a lot of empty places and after the night refill don't looks good cleaning with a lot of carton in floor, always good to have the coffe place to have a good breakfast at that time.
The Cafe is like Hotel California. Lots of staff but they put the slow one on the till… who then does the coffees!! Can you put in a few self service tills for those who don’t have 3 hours to waste for lunch?
The friendly atmosphere even at the very busy period and time I visited (6pm) was impressive. Nice Christmas music and happy staff. A good visit.
Really impressive Tesco, we are visiting from out of town and couldn't believe the amount of other Arcadia shops like Dorothy Perkins and Evans conveniently available inside. Everything seemed really well stocked and tidy. We didn't get a chance to try Scan and Shop but it seemed like everyone was at it. Really great petrol prices nearby for travelers.
