Able to get everything I wanted and fresh products were of a good a quality. Some good offers for Morrisons card holders.
I love the food to go, bakery and fresh fruit and veg at Morrisons and wanted to mention how amazing it is that the food to go section will bag up a single pie or sausage roll for a single person. Great customer service!
Abolute dive, like walking back into the 80's, signs everywhere, low rent crap piled high everywhere it will fit, safety screens for staff at all counters and gates to stop you entering and exiting, it doesnt deserve to be a functioning store in this days and age, save yourself money and have a nice experience- shop at Aldi or Lidl.
This Is Morrisons hot food counter. It previously used to be staffed but now self service so things like chicken fillets or anything which is supposed to have a crispy coating is chewy and horrible. Same applies to chips and wedges; they are soggy because they are sat in boxes rather than being under heat lamps as they used to be which would keep them crispy. Half of the time you turn up well into the lunch period, there is hardly any hot food available. This picture was taken at 12.30 and as you can see the shelves are practically empty. You can't rely on this place if you want hot takeaway food at lunchtime.
They are very reluctant to open proper person operated check outs, the self service is less than intuitive and takes a lot longer to use on a big shop even though there was no shortage staff. Also the reward scheme is not rewarding. You get offers on random items that you just wouldn't bother with. It's a shame because we have used Morrisons for years but they just don't seem to care now.
Good selection of bakery/cake products together with a very good deli section but standard day to day products/household brands seem more expensive than other local supermarkets.
9am on a sat morning - only 2 tills open and queue at least 6-8 long . I DO NOT get paid as an employee to do the bosses item swiping whilst they sit in their ivory tower counting their profits . They have now lost my custom for good after attempting another shopping trip to their local store .
We went for lunch. We got our drinks & had waited about 20 minutes when a member of staff came up to say one of our dinners wasn't available. I asked for a refund but only had one dinner refunded I said I'd ordered 2 she thought I would still want that one. I don't think I should of waited so long & the service on refund was not good.
Often visit this store on my lunch break to get a few things as you do. The size of the store is good and everything is well stocked. However if you ever use the self-checkout and attempt to purchase anything which requires proof of ID, even some medication, prepare to be stood waiting for a long time. The customer service is appalling to say the least, I recently, and quite genuinely, had to wait the best part of 15 minutes to get an item 'ID approved' and when the attendant finally decided to come over, there was no apology and more a inconvenient look shot my way. I completely appreciate during the lunch hour the staff are busy, but this was beyond a joke!
