Lovely selection of fine cheese at good prices. The young lady serving was brilliant with patience and advice.
The best pork pies ever and the sausage rolls are stunning. They have a great range of cheeses and cold meats you just can’t fault the quality.

Very good stall in the old market building. There was a queue and I can see why. This family run cheesemongers sells some fab, award winning cheeses: I bought some Yorkshire Cask, a gold award winning cheese at the Great Yorkshire Show, made with beer and mustard seeds. Rhuby Crumble and Flatcapper Northern Brie also sounded enticing. All served by an efficient, polite chap. I also bought some brandy snaps, they're yum! And I have yet to sample their handmade rum and butter fruitcake that I also bought. Also sells quality range of preserves and pickles, chutneys and honeys, including pure comb. Condiments and mushroom ketchup and all sorts of tasty sounding delights. Hot drinks and freshly made sandwiches to order. Also has some bar stools where you can sit. Good stall, good products, good service. Definitely coming back here again. Recommended.

Fantastic range of cheeses, pork pies and other quality products. Based in Pontefract Market Hall, serving the people of Pontefract and surrounding area.
Lovely little spot in the market with a few stool to catch your breath and grab a pork sarnie and a cuppa. Stuart is such a friendly and helpful chap. Food is excellent.
