   I stopped for a coffee and asked for a Tall size. The lady at the till looked puzzled and asked what that was?! I explained that they have Tall, Grande, and Venti, and that it should cost £5.80. She then charged me £5.25, which I questioned because it was less than expected. When I received my coffee, it was a Short size and it was burnt!! I was in a rush and too angry to keep arguing, so I left. I won’t be returning.

   Very disappointing experience at the Starbucks in Battersea Power Station. The staff member who served me (Masum) was rude and unprofessional and spoke to me in an embarrassing way in front of other customers. When I asked for help or to speak to a manager, he claimed he was the manager but showed no customer service or leadership skills. He also didn’t seem to know how to use the Starbucks system or apply Rewards offers and made no effort to help. This behaviour is unacceptable, especially for such a prominent location. I expect much better from Starbucks.

   When I walked up to the counter and said hello, the barista didn’t acknowledge me at all—he was too busy showing something on his phone to his colleague. When he finally did look up, the service felt half-hearted, like he just couldn’t be bothered. The coffee we ordered was pretty mediocre, and the barista who made our drinks had the same uninterested attitude as the first person we spoke to. The café itself could really use a bit of life. It’s right in the heart of Battersea, but somehow it still feels dull and lacking atmosphere.

   This is a busy Starbucks location at Battersea Power Station, which opened as part of its transformation back in 2022. I loved the art-deco-inspired décor, although it could have been more practical, with people crowding around the same areas, and I did struggle to get a table — which shouldn’t have been such a struggle given the size of the café. I went for an Iced Gingerbread Latte. Prices were in line with other London Starbucks, costing slightly more than elsewhere in the UK. My drink quality was OK, but I’ve had better at Starbucks — the espresso here tasted slightly burnt, and my drink lacked sweetness. The baristas were busy, so service felt unfriendly and impersonal. Even the water jug was by the condiments bar, so it was a get-your-own kind of deal. Plenty of other places for coffee in Battersea, and I feel, other than looking pretty, they need to do more to be worth a revisit.

   New Starbucks in the Power Station. Ordered a hot chocolate and a muffin to go, and even though there was quite a queue it went pretty fast. A pity the staff did not know half of the questions I asked (really simple)! They have some tables inside as well, but could be more comfortable.

   On 28th Dec. we ordered drinks and sat at the back section of the outlet. However was told that the section was closing within 10 minutes and this was at 1910 while it was to close only at 2100. Considering the large number of persons still ordering drinks, are they expecting their customers to drink and eat outside the outlet, in the corridors of Battersea Power Station? Customer service “Zero”. Quality of drinks “3” as they follow the standard.

   i don’t know how your staff do it!!! everyone at this store works tremendously hard and i have never had a problem. super fast service despite the crowds, delicious coffee as expected from starbucks, thank you so much for all working so hard i would be lost without you!!

   Some harsh reviews on here. Great place to get food and drinks, quick service. Only small gripe would be that it could do with more seating, but just shows it’s popularity! Cheers guys!

   I was really unpleasantly surprised with this place. Extremely slow and disorganised stuff. After 10 min waiting for our order I have asked how long do we have to wait and I was told that our order hasn’t been taken yet and we will need to wait another 10 or so minutes. Well … we gave up and left. Paid for coffee but left with it as our passion has gone. Will I came again? No. It should be a beautiful and a bit different place in Power station but in fact it’s small, nothing special at all. Absolutely usual Starbucks. Nothing extraordinary.
