I love coffee. And I don’t mean casually. I’m genuinely obsessed. From brewing techniques to processing methods to origin and roast profiles, coffee is a huge part of my life. So when James Hoffmann featured a place claiming to serve the most expensive espresso in the world, I was naturally intrigued. TL;DR: Avoid this place at all costs. The level of disappointment is honestly difficult to put into words. I don’t know where to start. The waiting staff couldn’t explain the difference between their house and signature beans beyond “uhhh… this one is more expensive?” Or the pour-over, which was hands down the most under-extracted cup I’ve ever been served. A 3.9 rating feels wildly generous. I wouldn’t even give this a 0.9. What makes this especially frustrating is that, as someone visiting London for the first time, I’ve since had coffee at places that are infinitely better in every possible way. Better execution, better knowledge, better value, and better respect for the craft. This place is an unmitigated disaster. Do yourself a favor and go literally anywhere else. Please.

I like everything there. The kind of coffee were so good . I tried ice V60 . Colombian beans. It was so good. Also the desert was so delicious . The waiters were so helpful.

Great service and hospitality from Sue. Usually I always walk past this place, but I had a great experience here, felt very welcomed and the iced Spanish latte was great.

Shot is a real playground for coffee lovers! They have everything — from classic beans to crazy unique microlots. I tried their Decaf (not always easy to find good one!) and it was honestly delicious — smooth, flavorful, and satisfying. Also had their pistachio cheesecake — super tasty and the perfect match with the coffee. Great vibe, cool selection, and a spot I’ll definitely come back to.

This is definitely my favourite place for coffee. The coffee is smooth, but strong with a nice kick. It doesn’t leave a bitter after taste in your mouth. Yes, it’s a little more pricey than other coffee houses, but it’s 100% worth the extra money. The staff are always super polite and helpful. You may have to queue as it can get busy in the evenings especially on the weekends, but it’s worth the wait. I will definitely be going again.

This place looks very intriguing from the outside and I've never experienced high class coffee service such as this! Yes, you're paying slightly more than the average London coffee shop but you are also in for a unique experience! Would recommend to visitors, the pastries are very pretty and the signature shot is one of a kind ☕

The new gold standard for London specialty coffee shops. Be sure to tell your preferences to the Coffee Dealer and he will deliver the perfect coffee for you. The place is packed but the staff will do everything possible to make the experience as comfortable as possible. Fantastic!

I had their ice pistachio coffee and I was not impressed. It’s a great drink but badly executed. The pistachio cream on the bottom is so thick and it go stuck to my straw. I was struggling to stir and sip through the metal straw. I wish a spoon came with the drink. It was too hard to stir the drink with the straw. The staff offered me 20% discount as a goodwill gesture which was unexpected but appreciated. I am glad to see that they listen to their customer’s feedback and try to make it right by them promptly.

Nice place to sit in and enjoy a coffee. Tried the Jamaica Blue, tasted smooth but still had a good bite. However, compared to the regular flat white it did not taste massively different….perhaps I’m not the coffee connoisseur I thought I was.

One of the most stylish and chic cafes i’ve visited in London. Based in the Mayfair area, the interior is very sleek and glossy in gold and black colours. Shot is already one of my fave spots in town. Delicious coffee as well btw and served by a lovely and friendly team.
