Unfortunately, we ordered tea - with milk, to drink in cafe. You basically get an amount of milk based on whatever the staff feel like pouring in on top of the tea bag in hot water - far too much in this case. Despite leaving the teabag in the mug for the duration, the tea remained overly milky. If one is paying well over £3 for a mug of tea, providing some separate milk to add yourself, after the tea has brewed in water for a few minutes, is not really too much to ask. Could do better.

I went to the Starbucks in Covent Garden today and had a very unpleasant experience. I was standing in a long queue to order my coffee and politely asked one of the staff members if I could use the toilet while waiting. Instead of helping, she told me that if I needed a toilet, I should go outside and use the public toilets in Covent Garden. Her attitude was rude and completely unnecessary. I was genuinely shocked. Because of this treatment, I changed my mind, cancelled my order, and went next door to Red Farm restaurant where the staff were polite and I was able to use the toilet without any issue. Very disappointing customer service. I won’t be returning to this branch.

Been here a few times in the last couple of years. Never had any issues. Drinks have always been done well even when its busy. The layout downstairs is nice and tucked away, which is amazing when you need a break from the madness of London. Staff are nice and sometimes do art on the drinks cup, which is always lovely! Highly recommend and hope to return soon!

Just ordered a mango / dragonfruit drink from here, honestly first time trying new drinks from there or else where, so the woman with the brown pigtails offered the one I mentioned up there^. And also my partner ordered the strawberry crème bun pastry. Honestly drinks and bites were nice, but as soon as I get home I felt queasy, and then well you know the rest..TW for the people who don’t like the word Vo…it

This place is mostly for taking your coffee away, as the café is very small. In a line for ordering, you are bumping into people that have already ordered, or that are choosing some snack form a fridge on the opposite side than where the cash desk is. So really, take away.

Worst Starbucks I have been too. Staff were miserable, no customer service skills. The guy on bar assuming to be the manager was rude - moaning about his job.. that’s what you want to hear as a customer! Gave me my drinks by sliding them over without a thank you. Ordered a tea and when asked where it was he then found it behind him (been sitting there for a while) and slid it across yet again. No apology or regard for his mistake. Cafe was filthy. Sat for 30 minutes and not once was it cleaned. Appalling representation of the company.

Great locations and open super early! Only downside! The seatings are in basement downstairs with no windows. The other issue is that the staff do not wipe the table as they should. Sticky tables. The downstairs seating is comfy, great music and charge points everywhere. There isn’t much coffee point before 9 in Covent Garden so you do not have much choice.

Other than the slow service, terrible coffee and poor presentation. This place is so so dirty. I’ve attached pictures but this is the last place you want to get coffee when there are so many better places around the corner. DONT DO IT!!
