Sometimes they rush making the drinks leading to weak tasting mochas, hot chocolates and lattes and its not as nice as if they took a bit more time and put a bit more effort. Overall they are nice but wish they would make the drinks better.
Nice people, welcoming, clean loos but can you please train Nero staff as to how to make a cup of tea to take away! If not, may I do it myself in future? :)
No stars for the service. Unacceptable - rude, despicable staff. I visited Caffe Nero on 23 August 2025 after 10am. I asked for a matcha latte with light ice but I was still given a lot of ice around 6-7 ice cubes and less drink as seen in the photo. I noticed this when I stepped out in the sunlight so I went back and asked for my drink to be remade or refund. The two staff working there was a white girl and a slightly obese black girl who called herself the manager. The “manager” started to be very aggressive saying I wouldn’t know anything about light ice because I’ve never worked at a cafe. I just said I’ve been to many different cafes and light ice means 2-3 ice cubes, I reiterated that I would like either a refund, my drink remade or I could make a complaint. She started to get very confrontational showing me the recipe book. I acknowledged that she was getting aggressive and confrontational. She said she doesn’t get confrontational with people she doesn’t care about. I asked her that she doesn’t care about the customers who contribute to the cafe revenue. She started to be more argumentative that it’s the cafe that pays her through brand deals. She finally gave me a refund at 10.13am and I said I would make a complaint based on her behavior and I’ve noted down the time. She started being rude again are you blind or can you not see the time since it’s on your phone. The she was like don’t worry about yourself and I responded she needs to be worried about the complaint to which she said she’s the manager - I said she’s a terrible manager. All through this time the white girl was laughing throughout. Nearby customers noticed her poor behavior. Please hire more personable and hospitable staff otherwise nobody will visit your cafe.
Standard food for the chain: toasts, paninis, salads, mac and cheese etc. Staff very attentive and well organised. London prices, toast+coffee about £8-9.
Limited vegan options. Lovely spacious Cafe Nero with friendly helpful staff.
Great option for a quick bite; relaxed moment with a book or a good magazine. Service is amazing!
Drinks as expected up to usual standards. Staff were friendly and helpful. Good selection of food was available. Plenty of seats were available. Managed to tick off another three drinks from my loyalty card. Will visit more branches. Highly recommended.
