Quiet and peacefull place to have some hot chocolate. I tried the millionaire hot chocolate, it was too sweet but if you ignore the sweetness then really good overall.

Popped in here whilst on the SouthBank earlier and have to say the service from the Baristas there was outstanding. I ordered a hazelnut Matcha Latte with oat milk, which was well textured, and real tasty! Great work guys!

Expensive coffee they can at least sort out the absolutely revolting toilet. The staff way too busy to deal with and plus, that needs more than a wipe. A deep clean, total replacement ideally and a hygienic urinal would be helpful to stop men peeing all over the toilet for starters. No hand soap or wall hooks either. Just gross.

I had an issue scanning my app during my visit to Caffè Nero, but Ms. Kiran provided exceptional assistance with a very friendly and professional attitude. She not only helped me resolve the issue efficiently but also prepared an excellent cup of coffee that truly brightened my day after a hectic schedule. Her outstanding customer service and warm approach reflect the high standards of Caffè Nero. Highly appreciated!

I am writing to formally raise a unsatisfied and unpleasant service I received at your branch located at Unit G4/G9, Oxo Tower Wharf, Barge House Street, London SE1 9PH on 25th July at around 12:00pm. When I entered the store, there were two baristas behind the counter and no other customers waiting. I approached and politely greeted them, saying “hello,” and placed a simple order: an iced latte with less ice. However, the female barista with curly hair did not acknowledge me, made no eye contact or verbal response, and immediately turned away with visible impatience. She started preparing the drink in silence, and I noticed that the espresso used had been sitting on the bar for at least 30 seconds, indicating it was leftover and not freshly made. She poured this into the milk and handed me the drink without a single word throughout the entire interaction. Feeling uncomfortable, I asked her: “I didn’t do anything wrong—are you okay?” At this point, the male barista nearby stepped in and kindly offered to remake the drink, which I appreciated. That said, I’ve been a loyal customer of Nero for years and have always enjoyed the warm service your brand is known for. This experience was deeply disappointing and unlike anything I’ve encountered at any other Nero location. I believe all customers deserve basic courtesy and professional service, and I hope this feedback will be taken seriously. Thank you for your attention.

Nice coffee and cakes but typically of most coffee joints. Most of the staff appear to be baristas in training though. There was a queue outside the toilet all the time we spent here!

Avoid, we went yesterday and to say the toilets were dirty is an understatement. There was a flood from either the toilet or sink and the colour of the liquid was not clear. I wonder where the staff use the toilets and was their hands.

I simply love this place, the coffee is good, has a decent selection of pastries, but what I love the most is that it is open late, late, late! When we were doing the Queen queue at 5 am in the morning, Nero coffee shops by the riverside where opened for us, it was a great feeling to enjoy a hot coffee after walking for more than 8 hours knowing that we needed batteries for another 5 hours walking! Wherever I go in London, Nero coffee shops are my safe haven :)

A spacious stylish Caffe Nero by the Oxo Tower and on the riverbank near Blackfriars Bridge. Visited on a Wednesday afternoon and they were busy but plenty of seating and space (see photos of seating). There is also seating outside (river-side). Staff were friendly and efficient. We had a hot chocolate with oat milk and a coffee both of which are must better than their competitors in my opinion. This branch stays open much later than a lot of Caffe Nero’s so this is great. One thing to improve is more staff needed at busy times to ensure that tables are regularly cleaned for new customers as ours wasn’t and staff were trying to get through serving the customers. Biggest let-down is that whilst we were there a big queue formed right across the coffee shop for the toilet. Nearly everyone in the queue walked in and didn’t buy a coffee. Most Caffe Nero’s have a code for the toilets to stop this happening and would suggest this branch try this as it was annoying sitting beside a long line for the toilets of non-customers.

One of my favourite places to meet friends for quick coffee and catch up. I find this place to be quite spacious from the inside so chances are you’ll find a table pretty easily. It also has the option for outdoor seatings in which are fantastic during summer time. Definitely recommend.
