Updated for winter 2025. Despite the (extremely long) refurb and the hacking issues being long since dealt with, no further forward on the main issue of very mixed stock management. Increasingly don't have "basics" in stock, but always seem to have lots of remaindered cold items. Still seem to have the issue with meal deal items not scanning through properly (or items being put in wrong place in chiller) and having to be checked and overridden. Also post refurb, seem to have stopped stocking local ranges (Potts cream cakes etc) There will always be a small price premium versus a large supermarket, but most pricing is crazy now. A couple of years ago would pop in several times a week, but now tend to go in much less frequently as can't rely on things being in stock, and outside of member specials (which often have an item from a bundle deal missing) buy less and less. Notable that a couple of elderly neighbours have simply stopped shopping there and are getting Tesco or Morrisons deliveries instead.

Can't believe how busy it was today (Boxing Day) Very low staff "absolutely disgusting" ........

With the new layout the aisles are tiny now, and are occupied by about 4 staff per aisle. One had B.O. You have to say excuse me to staff to try and buy anything. Anything you do buy is overpriced, don't forget your members card or you will pay a fortune. Sensory overload and no useful stuff in there. Couldn't even find frozen chicken and the fresh chicken looked garbage and was like £2 per 100g

One of very few shops in the area & the closest without catching a bus. Rip off Coop is over priced & you should always check your receipt and change here as they're useless keeping prices upto date.

Manager looks like the ade edmondson and can talk for Britian but a nice guy all the same. In fact… it’s a bit like walking into a league of gentleman cast reunion in there! But nice folk tho!

The Co op has been an institution for years, but now you need a bank loan to shop there, ridiculous prices!!

Larger than it looks from the outside. CoVid compliant requiring masks for entry and a one way system in store. Good product range in a spacious store. Car park is a reasonable size but could get crowded quickly if the store was busy. Car park is not flat or particularly well laid out for people with limited mobility. Store is wheelchair accessible.

A good choice of groceries. The fresh vegetables & fruit is always top class. The staff are friendly, but there's not always enough at the tills. Not a great move introducing so many self-service tills.
