Just want to give a big shout out to the manager who serves me every morning (sorry I should know your name by now) I always order ahead and she always greets me with a smile and wishes me a lovely day! The costa is always clean and the service is always impeccable! Thankyou!
We call in here at 6.30 am every morning before work. Perfect coffee every time made by a very warm and friendly young lady. Credit to costa
Unusually weak latte for some reason. Normally, I find that Costa is fairly strong. Pretty functional but it is clean. The cafe us just below Street level with 7 steps down. (There is a little elevator for prams and wheelchairs.)
Costa has seriously gone downhill! the quality of the cappuccino now is so bad, especially at Costa, Moorfields, Liverpool! the staff seriously need some training on how to make this coffee because all they are serving now is a milky coffee with no head of frothy milk whatsoever! I've used Costa for a long time but have now decided to switch over to an independent shop!
Visited this Costa on Sunday 25/05, 1 x woman & 1 x man on tills, we were the only people in the queue. As the man was taking our order, before we could order our drinks, he looked at his phone and walked to the other side of the counter to read his messages in plain sight. We stood there flabbergasted, we have never come across such rudeness from staff. We had to laugh because this is the worst customer service / general rudeness to anyone we have ever come across. His colleague then asked if we finished our order, we said no and she called him out on this, and his response was this text was important. Truly awful service. Thought it was a prank!
Nice and quiet, good if you need to get some work done with a cup of coffee. Nice seating area

Terrible service. Employees clearly busy with their lives and unaware of what they're doing, unable to follow simple requests. Asked for two double expressos, had to wait an eternity because they only had 1 cup. After a while, they gave me 1 double and 2 singles, but the double came in a broken cup. Went back, asked for 2 more singles as we were splitting the other 2, but they gave me another double... All the while, the employees appeared shocked that I was refusing to drink from a broken cup and when I complained about the double instead of 2 singles all 3 looked at me like they had no idea what I was talking about.
Recently converted from Costa as they sold me a cup and said you get a discount for using your own cup but when I went to get a refill they said go and clean your cup then come back we don't touch used cups so I goto Starbucks now because they are as petty as Costa and they are cheaper
The big reason I have taken stars off for this is the length of time it took to get served. It was a Saturday morning, maybe 11am, so pretty quiet but it took 10-15 minutes. I don't blame the staff, they were clearly working hard. There was simply not enough staff. Only 2 members to clean, wash dishes, make food, coffees, milkshakes and other complicated drinks. If they had more staff, they'd serve more people and make more money...
